Alyssa thanks for this video. My Jupiter's in Capricorn and whenever I have read about this placement I just get "it's a crappy place for Jupiter to be." So thanks for explaining this placement more in depth. I wish luck was a little easier for me (my Leo sun definitely wants that), but deep down I kind of knew I'd have to work hard to get what I want. The Saturn return point was interesting. My return in Scorpio (2nd house) was intense, and knowing this about Jupiter in Capricorn I can see why.

So true. I often feel like I have to work twice as hard as others to achieve goals. People are always jealous and resentful toward me despite the fact that I was never handed anything in life. The older I get the better I become at ignoring and pushing past the bitter, petty haters.
I grew up really poor and have been working really hard to get out of that, without any help from anyone. But I also have a "part of fortune" in this house, so when I have read chart interpretations I am always reading that I am lucky lol. And I do feel that way, things tend to end up working out for me despite the struggles.

I can really sense all that hard work energy and how it's gone really affect my life as I get older. Especially with the Saturn in Aries placement squaring my sun and Mars.. Oh well .. I can't give up 👊🏿 I have to keep striving to achieve what I want .. even tho if its gone take beating to my body (with my Mars in Virgo )il get there and when I do.. I have this placement. Accurate AF. I also have Saturn in my first house IN PISCES (Cap. rising) ! I live with that pressure of needing to work really hard to get pass adversity and toxic family pathologies so that I can "make it" in certain areas of life that my family has not. It's way too easy for me to fall in that trap of isolation and depression. I feel like I'm the one of my family that needs to break that cycle and make shit happen but as you pointed out, letting go of my own misfortunes and resentment is heavily challenging and it affects my work ethic greatly.

Also, you are correct about the longer saturn return. Between my 25th and 35th years on earth, both of my parents died and just after dealing with all of that, I went through a horrible relationship situation (big deception by an ex-pastor) that made me want to walk into the ocean (and I'm not a swimmer). Even my son became extremely unruly during that time to the point where I wanted to send him away to military school. So much of that Saturn return period was very challenging.

I like my Jupiter in Capricorn but Neptune in Sagittarius is conjunct, so I think it softens the stressful parts of Cap. I also have Mars in Cap conjunct so it gives me a boost to work even harder.

I'm aries sun/rising with jupiter conjunct my MC within 2 degrees of orbs, saturn as the ruler of my jupiter is placed in 29° pisces conjunct fixed star scheat while my chart ruler is in 8° aries, and widely conjunct with saturn I think. But jupiter is squared by sun, mars, mercury, and even the south node from the ascendant. And oh, between saturn and jupiter they are ±40° separated, I can't remember exactly..
