The characters from KCD feel alive because the actors put some of theirs personality and traits into them. When he's speaking I feel that Hans Capon vibe.

It would be so cool to get a sequel where Hans Capon (played by Luke, otherwise it'd be disappointing) plays a central role in the story.

Hans Capon is the best character in KCD, really rarely someone manages to write a character who is supposed to be annoying brat but in a way is lovable, and then just grows to be a "good friend". The vocals are undeniably the important part of delivering such hard character to deliver, good job.

From watching the audition clip I immediately understand why they decided to give him the part of Jan Ptáček (John Capon). He just sounds too much a nobleman.

As you touched the THQ Nordic buyout of WH and why that happened, it ties to financing of development of the game of course. There were multiple stages of financing, one of the initial public was KS campaign. There many promises were made, some of which few players hold against Dan Vavra until now. The main financing source became Zdenek Bakala, czech billionaire that funded the production. WH ownership was split between Vavra+Martin Klima with minor portion, Bakala major about 80% i think? Why so much? Cause Bakala provided hundreds of millions of crowns to fund the game. Say $20mil and more. KCD was not cheap and it is a feat of fortune and fortitude by Vavra and Klima duo. I remember reading or watching an interview with Dan Vavra in cz, where he says he even had to sell his car or something, at one stage of development, to get some funding to keep going for a little bit.. I do know KCD was expensive and I can only praise Dan for his perseverance. To sell the product is only natural, he gets creative freedom with secure financing.

I'm from Texas, and I keep forgetting that in Britain a biscuit is a cookie...so when Sexy asked Luke "what's your favorite biscuit" and he said "anything with caramel" i almost barfed lol
Haha seeing this suddenly reminded me of when sir hans capon made a mistakes on the poem DLC mission haha the romance of sir hans. It was really hilarious. By far the funniest part in the whole game. You're really did a great job luke! And thanks for roxy for interviewing him. It really entertain me, especially when dealing with a lockdown situation like this. Let's hope you get a chance to interview charlatan's next time haha. Can't wait for that lol. And I need more bromance of Henry and Sir Capon as well in KCD 2 haha.

KCD did something amazing. I ended the game and I still care for the characters, I want to know what happens to them, and good part of it is thanks to skilled actors like Luke.

@@JazzJaRa Yeah. The whole time I was concerned "please don't let this loud fat guy fall into the cliche of betraying us, he is hilarious". Was very happy he didn't and that we got to see him be the chad that he was in battle at the end.
