Lucas, you have absolutely the BEST interpretation of the Transcendental Etude 10 in F minor I HAVE EVER HEARD!! I love the way that YOU play it!! Your hard work and struggles paid off. This is where music comes from. It comes from within the soul of the pianist. BEST WISHES TO YOU!
Thank you you could enjoy it. Others are so rushed. It was wonderful here, very soulful, I would even say it is the best of all the others here. THANK YOU
This is the remarkable virtuoso that was the consen sus public, media, and music press critics favorite to win the 2015 Tchaikovsky Competition piano division Gold Medal. Naturally, the jury threw him a bone by awarding fourth place. The actual WINNER has already faded into obli- vion; Debargue is playing all over the world!
Dimitri Masleev isn't forgotten.. this is just the beginning. He's a very good interpreter of Prokofiev, I could listen to him at the Vuitton foundation 3 weeks ago. On the other side, the 4th place is actually as good as the second place in my opinion, maybe better, there is no podium, no judging!
@@miguelkhalil5226everyone has their favourite. I didn't mean that Cho, Mao or ovchinnikov was better, I just put them there in case anyone else has not heard theirs.
It's somewhere between sec. 23 and sec. 24, when the right hand hits the keyboard in a heavy chord. Uppest note of the chord is way lower than expected, and it grabs your ear. And uppest note of this chord is played by right hand's littlest finger.
tchaikovsky competiton is not like chopin one, in the tchaik one u need to play at least 2 things of lizt 2 things of chopin ect. You don't only play tchaikovsky's compositions.
@@РоссийскаяФедерация-б4я You are a rogue by deviating the topic from this specific performance ad hominem. To satisfy your curiosity, yes I can play the f minor better; regardless, the fact that this performance is subpar and you are a rogue stays true.
3:07 è semplicemente il migliore! I bassi precisi e marcati e l’incastro destra-sinistra sono perfetti! SPETTACOLARE!!!
A stunning benchmark interpretation. Every note has meaning. I can hardly wait for Lucas to record the Sonata in B minor.
I’m a bit late but here you go ruclips.net/video/AonLtK5YDcI/видео.html
3:07 les basses sont si accentuées !! Il est l'un des seuls à les faire sonner alors qu'elles sont tellement essentielles
if i coud i would even play it as a octaves

3:07 Maybe Yunchan Lim was inspired by his bass interpretation 👏
i think he was extensively listening pogorelich and kissin in this case of Liszt Transcendental Etude No. 10
Trifonov's interpretation is better to me but this one is also great. Bravo !
Люка Дебарг е великан!!!
Amazing job I prefer this guy to Trifonov :)
Not saying there is anything wrong with Trifonov's version
I agree he doesn't rush through it as much as much and there's less frantic movements
The version of Bertrand chamayou is amazing you have to listen to his version
@@antoinekojfer3501 I will listen thanks
I prefer Berezovsky’s over every interpretation
WOW
Was there a mistake at the beginning
Yes. A huge one one you can't miss because from the right little finger. Very unfortunate.

Nishant Modak please watch your language.
Sure, but the structure of the work remains intact.
Also tiny errors already at 0.05 and 0.21
Left hand study
Wwowww
Lol do people ever play any Tchaikovsky at this competition. Every time I see I clip from there it's Chopin or Liszt.

Sorry, but he simply hasn't really mastered this
Transcendental Etude??? What do people think they are talking about ??
Too flat. Too inconsistent. TOOOOO MANY wrong notes. Disliked.
This is a live performance. And from what I’ve heard he’s self taught. Unless you can play better the him stop talking shit.
