This was so fun, practical, and inspiring! Would love to see your stained glass side sometime AND love the term knitcast. I think it should be adopted universally. 😁 Thanks so much, Liz!
As I’m watching this my husband is kindly putting up shelves in my small craft area ! I have definitely found inspiration. I love the clear dividers between your yarn. I so agree with ‘out of sight’ it just doesn’t work for me. I too have the narrow draws which are brilliant! Thank you 👏
Thank you SO much for going through this! It was great to see the space and understand how you designed it! FYI, I purchased a kind of saw horse that can be used to hold up a table from IKEA. I adjusted it and use it to hold my swift at one end and ball winder at the other. It works great!
Thanks for this video. The biggest thing I took from it is the advice to arrange and rearrange for inspiration. Sometimes stale spaces can really be detrimental to creativity. I’m having a bit of this issue currently myself. This has given me a bunch of ideas to arrange my space to make it accesible to that creativity. Many thanks. 🤗
Oh gurl…! I can’t do anything unless I’ve got an organized space! I too would get so bogged down in trying to figure out if I had the right needles, the right cord lengths, the yarn (the fun part actually) etc. I finally broke down and got an interchangeable needle set (but now I’ve realized I really prefer metal needles after buying all wood needles 😢) it never ends but honestly I’m sitting pretty right now and feel inspired and happy with my craft. So thank you for sharing your ideas as I’m always looking for tips and way to improve. I especially like the idea of a mood board with swatches and color wheels out where you can see them!
Interesting Ravelry suggesting projects for our stash. I definitely NEED it! I started loading stash/tools etc onto Yarn Buddy. But I think Ravelry might be better, Love your space. My fleeces, old pattern books with non-precious cheap yarn are in the shed. But my good stuff and wheels, swift etc in the house, but need a dedicated space. I want to convert the queen bed into a murphy bed in the spare room so it can double as a craft room. Another job for hubby.
Great space! I’ve bought yarn to knit a Misurina...light main colour, darker cc...do you think I’ll have trouble with the darker colour showing thru the front where it’s carried behind the lighter colour on this pattern? (I’m new-ish to colorwork).
What a good question! I did notice that it did show a tiny bit toward the end of the yoke where I operated the sleeves. I saw your question and will talk it about it more in the video coming out on Saturday!
Great video...would love to see your stain glass projects and workspace.
Coming soon!
Wow, such a good idea to put your lovely yarn above your desk! And the tiny sweaters are so fun to look at, too!
Thanks so much! 😊

haha I will make KnitCast a thing! Stained glass is definitely going to come in the show and tell segment once summer is done!

Love that! A fresh space makes so much room for the creativity to flow. Best wishes on your space refresh!

What a beautiful space! I love how easy you’ve made it to negotiate - so inspiring!
Thanks so much! 😊
Thanks so much for sharing 💗
You are so welcome!
LOVE your creative space!!!
Thank you so much! It was a labor of love!
Thanks for the inspiration! I love your tiny sweaters. Where do you get the mini hangers? Such a cute way to display them.
Glad you like them! They are just little ornament hooks I got from AtHome
