I like all of the variety on this channel. I, particularly, like these auction reviews and find it most interesting. I'm proud to be a subscriber and a member, too. Thank you
My heart melted when I saw the XJ12 Sport Auto! If I had a big enough garage this would be one of my dream cars! Thank you, as always, sir! Terrific review.
That gold Viva is delightful, sir. It reminds me of our neighbour who had a pristine and lovingly kept powder blue Viva from new well into the late 1980s, replaced by a Nova which was a bit of a let down in comparison.
Sir, we drove a Viva last year, which was similar to this one, and the brakes and handling were not very good... Nevertheless, an incredibly popular car back in the 1970s, and very nostalgic for many, many people, no doubt.
Yep, my Dad had a 2-door Viva in red from new when I was about 8. VLJ 111J - I distinctly remember the black vinyl seats and horizontal speedometer. Simpler times...
Wow off to a start with this Alfa Spider. The Gemini looks a interesting car to say the least. I think you could be right with the Escort Van, the Ford Tax seems to be a bit high. I really like the R129 Mercedes SL500 looks well built. An excellent shuffle so far, going to break this into two parts and will catch up with the rest of this shuffle later on.
The Escort Van may be there a while, Mr Watters... The R129 was very nice, as was the 916 Spider. We will have to see what they actually reach on Saturday.
Barons again...hurray! 👍 The Alfa is, like so may Italian cars, gorgeous. The older Aston Martin is even more so. 11:46 Jaguar Mark 2. Grace, Space, Pace. Excellent. Jaguar XJ40. Well, OF COURSE I like it......! Wow! The Lotus Elise at 15:24 is certainly eye-catching in that vivid yellow paint: it just pops off my screen. The MG at 18:20 looks so nice. Someone is going to get a real bargain with that. I loved all the "clocks" on the dashboard of the Reliant Scimitar.22:37. I have to compliment the video quality: it was startlingly improved. Do you have a new phone ?
I mentioned this recently in the channel update, but I have switched back to using another phone for the Slightly Shambolic Shuffles in comparison with the one I had at Knebworth, since I was really disappointed with the quality of the footage from it during that event. It's not perfect, but it seems to do the job.
Classic car auctions in general are very good for indicating the state of the market, and it seems that the market is a bit low at the moment for many types of classics.
@@lloydvehicleconsulting Yes Joseph it's the same here there has has been some substancial price drops and slow to sell I am starting to think that the younger generation don't find them appealing the car show I was at on Saturday the 20 year old did not even look at the cars just the side shows best regards Andy Allen.
With respect, do you think we care what you like and don't like? It is not about you. It is about the vehicles and potential buyers. What THEY like is what matters mate. Yeah!
Onto Part 2.... Loved the Yellow Mini, the Panoramic Roof looked amazing.
A very enjoyable shuffle sir, I do love the Baron's Auctions shuffles.
Sir, I am glad you enjoyed it! We will back again next month.

Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting, sir! We will be back at the auction next month once again.

Sir, glad you enjoyed the XJ12. We did see it last month as well, I hope someone buys it this time...

I think that the 1972 Viva I drove last year almost certainly had vinyl seats.
Full approval given for the Jaguar with beige leather interior and cruise control, sir. We do like cruise control on this channel.
Sir, we do like a nice beige leather interior with wood and piping!

Some nice cars Joseph and some that did not sell I guess that's the way it goes now days thanks Andy Allen

Yes, the average classic car enthusiast isn't especially young these days...
Some of those were fairly reasonable....pity that even fairly reasonable is beyond my budget 😅
Well, the Alfa Romeo Spider had no reserve on it, so I suppose that is within budget. At the moment, anyway...
3:35 Touch worrying panel gaps though.
Never mind, sir!

Yeah!
Can we not have arguments in the comments section, please? The bonnet was actually slightly open.
