Honestly, I'd rather spend my hard earned coins on some Korean nail polishes than those Hermes ones. The Korean formulas are so much better. Those gemstone nails are GORGEOUS 😍!
I mean, the Hermes nail polishes she covered in a video were regular air-dry polishes, and these are gel polishes.
I wouldn’t waste money on them since they’re not gel polishes, period. But just in case, if someone reads this without knowing, they’re not the same thing lol

That Korean nail supplies is expensive but you really do pay for what you get! from the formula to the packaging to even the actual polish bottle. It’s insane!

Im so so so jelly 😭 When I started doing my nails I bought cheap off of amazon and I've been slowly replacing colours and stuff with Korean gels cause they are so much better in quality and have so many interesting collections.. I live vicariously through your problem 🤣♥
Not sure if ur already aware but u can tell the pigmentation of Tiny gel based on bottle design 🤩..
•Solid Color Bottle = Opaque Color.
•Middle Fade = Syrup (Slightly Transparent).
•Top Opaque w/ bright color fading down = Bright Jelly
•Top color w/ white bottom = Jelly Tint
•Color Cap + White Bottle = Topper (glitter, etc)
Not sure how u feel about potted gel’s but Japanese gel’s are AMAZING too!
-Korean Gels: Bomb ass jellies & bright colors in bottle form.
-Chinese m Gels: Killer base & extension gels + super pigmented basic colors. I particularly love Kokoist - the no-wipe glossy topcoat in bottle is my ride or die. The excel potted gel makes great clear extensions. The colors (particularly the glitters & nudes) are STUNNING.

I stand corrected. I did say the cheaper ones are just as good until i seen that nude set. It was absolutely flawless. And one coat!!! I’ve never had a one coat gel polish. I guess i will be shopping for better quality. The package and extras are worth it as well. In your words im shooketh lol

These are stunning!! The Korean gels I can totally get behind paying out for. That first collection!? Literally every nude suited your skin tone and I recon they would suit every tone. The consistency is to die for!
You can create nice nails with most brands (unless they're sketch af), but these fancy Korean brands are on another level for sure. Beetles gels will never apply nowhere near as easily and neatly as Jin.B gels 😅
I’m a beginner so I’m making do with what I can find on amazon, but I dislike them so much 😫 i’m fighting the burning desire to drop my hard cash on like 4 jin b collections and at least 3 from tiny
@@Nijilove78 I know what you mean 😅 overpriced subpar products... many of them. My best finds are the colours by Born Pretty (they also partner with Korean nail artists a lot and Amazon has quite a selection) and for the base, top, builder gel pot and nail art glue, I buy Bluesky. They make my mani actually last a month and I use my nails as "tools". eFile is a cheap one from MelodySuzie off of Amazon.
Now for the nail art and tools, do NOT bother getting those off of Amazon! Shein has the same stuff, much bigger selection and waaaay cheaper! Amazon sources theirs from the same sellers as Shein does, and it's a bunch of indie sellers actually (unlike their fast fashion, which can be problematic with how it's made...). I'd compare the Shein stuff to what the korean nail artists usually get off of Ali, so not Swarovski, but def not trash and you won't overpay.

I've been getting my nail decorations off of Ali. I think ali is great for charms and stickers but I want real rhinestones for crystals nail decor. I look up Swarovski and see they no longer sell for crafts😢 Luckily I found Fire Moutain gems. Hope they're good quality

Girl you are bot didn't lying I don't wear much makeup I've been trying liners and a little color and watching sine tutorials for lips I was not blessed in that area with a plump set but looking at her daily and she does not work with but 1 customer ( her Husband ), we all know. Lol but I would ❤️ to have my make look as beautiful as hers. So Amen to she does give all of us do hope somewhere that we can do it .

I tried using a rubber base gel and it peeled up, but I don't have issues with builder or hard gel. Any tips?
@Quack Quack I am NO professional and get all my products off of Amazon. I had the same issue but with the rubber base I have now I just dehydrate the nail bed and go! I have been using Saviland rubber base and it is actually staying put! Make sure not to wipe off the sticky layer before you put on your gel color. Then I just put on a no wipe top coat and done. My at home manicures have been lasting two weeks!!!!
Wait i have so many questions bc my natural nails r finally grown out and ive been looking for something to use that wont damage them bc i want to do designs and gel🥺 could you tell me more about it? Thank you
@MS yeah I just use a dehydrator on my nail bed and then go in the the Saviland rubber base from Amazon. After I cure that I then go in with gel polish and designs. I have not had any damage yet.

On the Show Me Color set, the swatches on the front of the bottle are the base color before the pearl pigment powders were added. The pearl pigment powders thicken the polish and make it so you can do the swirls.😊. Now I have to hock something to get my hands on that gemstone cat eye set! They were all delicious but that cat eye gem set you used for your nails just floored me and they looked even better in natural bright light❤

The side of the magnet with the two smaller diagonal magnets is used to make a lightning bolt or wave effect. you hold it still directly over the polish instead of holding the magnet on the side like you did before. Thank you for the swatch video! So pretty

Dgel has amazing polishes! I wish I could afford their new collections but it's like $3k. You should try Diami corn soft tips and feels so good gel to apply them I've heard amazing things that brand.

1:02:35 Not sure if someone already said this but for the other end of this grey magnet wand with the diagonally-placed bars, hover it over the nail like you did here but without wiggling, and it’ll do a Z/S-shaped line. For all line magnets, it’s best not to wiggle if you want the line sharp. You can swoop the magnet off the nail like you did earlier in the video with the bar magnet to curve the line. But if you want it straight and sharp at both ends then just lift off the nail after hovering very still.

Hey Evie I love Saturday mornings cause I know longhairpretty nails upload. I think the glitter polishes you swatched at 53:08 are supposed to go with the matching bases you showed in an earlier part of the video. Try it and let me know if the colors then match with the cap when you do it that way.

The super jelly colors you were expecting with the last set are a different set by TINY. They're Tiny's JJUUICE collection and are like stained glass. They're the set Emily Susannah got. It would have been pretty to see the soda colors on top of the second set it came with as it looks like they're supposed to go together. But goodness I love these videos!

fun fact! korean nail products include the little stands or cards to display the gel polish right? the reason behind that is, that in korea there soooo many small business nail studios that always have cute displays with each gel colour! for example 슈블링shubling always has nail vlogs where u can see the pretty displays
omg shubling has grown so much I see her being mentioned somewhere else TT It is nice they offer the stand cards even with small sets because everything is too cute to be left collecting dust or thrown away.

Hi Evie! Just 2 things! If you lower the lights and use a flash, you can see the glitter better. And the lint--an issue in another video--MIGHT be from the napkin on your work surface. Maybe a lint free cloth or silicone mat could reduce lint? 😊❤
