Well crafted movie for the most part. Excellent cinematography. The use of Rembrandt and chiaroscuro lighting, smoke/fog, etc. gave it much drama and...creepiness. The story reveals itself as one of loss, grief, and love with a tasteful amount of supernatural. There seems to be symbolism throughout and some archetypal representations. The acting, directing, and editing were very nice.
The ending is my biggest complaint with it being disrespectful to the boy's mother, in my opinion.

after watching this it reminded me of me before you when she played the nanny and am like: well shit she tried that shit before and looked how that turned out
At first I was expecting a heartwarming story here, cool to see that it's much darker than that though the preview has made the all too common mistake of giving too much of the movie away...
This trailer just gave away everything!!! Learn how to make a trailer that entices people, not gives away every single thing that is going to happen.

The trailer might look like it did. But it didn't. I was surprise. It was a nice sort of scary movie to watch on a Sunday and talk about it. I was happy to find it.
