After the whole #metalmarch24 madness is over, it's about time for the Drumtrooper and his white SIMMONS kit from the 1980's to make their next appearence on the channel. And what a tune he chose for his comeback! We proudly present you the song LIVING IN A BOX by British Pop band LIVING IN A BOX, taken off their debut studio album called LIVING IN A BOX released in 1987. Talking about some genius marketing moves... ^^ Interesting enough, being their first single ever released, it also became the most successful song of the band ever, since they split up in 1990 after only five years and two albums due to creative differences. It reached very high chart positions in the U.S. and many European countries, and it even got featured in a TV ad by a huge mobile network provider. Also a really interesting fact is that Sir Brian May himself was featured on their second album as a guest musician.

I had to check out the original video of this band. I like the song it’s kind of disco-ish! I wonder if the former members of this band… if their living situation is currently: living in a box! 😂😂😂 The title of the band and the song reminds me of a song from Saturday Night Live!
