If this guy had a worthy Wing Chun lineage as listed by the HongKong Athletic Association, he would not be wearing a Bruce Lee shirt. What a name/image dropper.
I want to try and learn how to do better if I have to learn both Wing Chun in karate so be it it's actually pretty amazing you're doing Wing Chun with karate you can make it work unless you keep at it all about improvements 🥋☯️🙏😌🙏☯️🥋
Wearing a UFC shirt with Bruce Lee on it..... Bruce Lee died 20 years before UFC None of his students students could even compete in early MMA except Erik Psulson.....who was using BJJ/Shooto Not JKD This revisionist history of Bruce Lee having anything to do with MMA is absurd
Are you for real? You do realise that MMA stands for Mixed Martial Arts don't you? Bruce Lee was one of the first to teach traditional martial arts to westerners and he was renowned for mixing the techniques of different styles. He was the first mixed martial artist. There wouldn't be MMA without Bruce Lee and most of the top prize fighters respect traditional martial arts and recognise Bruce Lee as the original mixed martial artist. I guess you're not a top fighter, just a keyboard warrior. You're hilarious 🤣

I have a confession; I fear the wooden things. It's some aversion like a repressed memory. Maybe one beat me up when I bumped into it with no glasses.
Medium speed to fast forget the slow or slow will be knock out in the real fight
Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast!

What kind of footwork is that. Speed does not mean skill (same with the hands)

Mixed martial arts is a sport originating in the late 90s in North America/Japan/Brazil
Training in multiple martial arts has been going on for centuries
That's how you got so many different martial arts you dunce
Like I said in my post if Bruce Lee was teaching MMA his students would've displayed it in early UFC
But they didn't
Because he didn't teach what's now known as MMA
And people were teaching traditional Asian martial arts long before he came to America
Bruce Lee didn't even teach an actual method of ground grappling
He had a collection of joint locks and some throws
That's it
Grappling wasn't even being taught at the Inosanto Academy in any comprehensive fashion until Yorinaga Nakamura arrived in 1989 and introduced Shooto and Dan Inosanto and select students like Erik Paulson started training with the Gracies & Machados in Brazilian Jiujitsu
Mixed Martial Arts is the name of a organized regulated sport
No one used it before Jeff Blatnik and company started using in 1998 as a way to rebrand the UFC away from previous labels such as Ultimate Fighting,Cage Fighting or at the time the most prominent label in usage which was No Holds Barred Fighting or NHB for short
