Beautiful day - in a sensational part of the world 🤩. Well done Charlie - and for the full climb later on in the week ✊. And thanks ever so much - starting to trend in the right direction 🤞
Hi Ed. Not sure if you have checked it already, but there a really nice and punchy climb up the Villard Notre-Dame. Forest, steep and super fun. You should give it a look if you have time. I had some lovely coffee up there and the view is great.
Very random question. Do you always stuff newspaper into your cycling shoes? Or was that the first time you wore them after you unpacked. Saw it in a previous episode, and wondered if it’s a Pro tip to stop them honking the place out, or you were drying them after a ride in torrential rain. Classy video as always, Ed. Long time follower. Love your content. Awesome job by Charlie 💪🏼
At the start it's like Charlies saying "shall we ride our bikes" for a change 😂 also great work by Charlie after not much riding 💪, loving these vlogs in France, I do love me some mountains 😍

Cracking video. That montage at the end - superb. Well done to Charlie aswell. That is no easy climb.
Nice one. Great riding from Charlie as well. If you're not used to the long climbing efforts it's tough.
Thanks everyone ☺️🌻🏔
Stunning scenery - what a beautiful place to ride. Charlie is awesome 🤩🌟Fabulous video - thanks for sharing.💖
Thanks so much!
Well done Charlie, I hope you had time to enjoy the scenery. Sometimes it's only on the descents that I see where I was 🥵😄 Nice video Ed !
Great video Ed, well done Charlie! 👍
Nice one Charlie! Well done to you and the gang on La Marmotte.

Drying them out after they get wet - old stage racing trick my dad taught us (used to stage race in Ireland a lot in the 70s)
Well done Charlie 👍 I know a certain Komhunter that would of stopped and moaned going up there 😉
9:00 Loving this bit of music you used Ed 👍
😂😂🙏🏼
Great video again and bloody lovely views.
How’s the bike compared to your other bikes you’ve used?
First ride I ever did in the Alps was an 80km loop around lake Annecy and up Semnoz. Not the smartest of decisions 😅 Well done Charlie 👊

😂😂😂😢I know. Shame I have to head back to Wales, nobody wants to see my local climbs there😂😂
That climb up to oulles is brutal never drops much below 10 apart from the hairpins
Reassuring that wall stops you going over the edge 🤔
My stomach just threw a big wobbly on that 🤣
Looks really lovely overthere, except for the abysses (brr).
That'll be the horse flies, or les taons in french. Always worse when the sheppards have just cut the high pastures.
I spent a week riding there during the 2011 TdF and never ran into these bugs, so I was wondering about that. They look pretty annoying!
Hope you've checked your brake pads!!
They are good!
Makes the gower look flat.
