Any estimate on whether McNeil will be fit in time for the Everton DGW24 at home vs. Leicester & Liverpool? Looking for considerable Everton double-/tripple-up-options to buy until then. From the stats he seems to be only one really to consider in their attack, if fit to play, right?
If Welbeck keeps getting stronger & more & more fit to play more minutes, though, JP will drop back to the half-9 / No. 10 position, that suits him much better. So, we might see increases in his returns, soon. I currently own Raul but my gut tells me that JP might be a better pick again, pretty soon... Didn't see the highlights of the Brighton vs. Ipswich game, yet, though. Looking at his BPS numbers from that game, he must have been very poor...
just watched the highlights of Ipswich vs. Brighton: Considering that JP is not a real No. 9 but rather a No. 10 or 9 1/2 or whatever yiu wanna call that sort of player... he did okay. Again, I think, he profits a lot for his play when he has a clear striker like Welbeck in front or alongside of him... And the one big chance that he got in that mat h, actually was greatly worked & shot by him, using his body very well, turning and bang!..., but the goalkeeper made an outstanding save, so not his fault, there... Also, it didn't look like he's having any physical issue (, as he was flagged yellow before yhat match...) Raul, on the other side, seemed, not for the first time, a bit unlucky / imprecise in his actions against West Ham...
Milenkovic or Murillo? Murillo tends to rack up bonus points more then Milenkovic. Also, should I get a forest defender or Hall? Asking this cause Newcastle will most probably blank in gw 28 and I'm trying to avoid a -4 transfer point.
Yeah, not easy decisions, those... Murillo seems to be a decent option at currently 4,6£. Has been in strongly rising form, recently. Did you see his interception against Diaz on one of Liverpools counter attacks, for example? And he also had a decent shot from distance, which didn't miss the goal by far. Also, Murillo does take direct free-kicks, sometimes (for example in GW20), as he does have a quite strong shot in his locker... So, at the moment, I probably would go for Murillo over Milenkovic, even though Dan hasn't mentioned him in this video (Why, by the way?), definitely over Aina. With Hall I'm hesitating for the same Blqnk GW29 reason & I have other priorities + I'm trying to get as much in-form & promising, but rather differential players in my squad as possible to climb up the ladder, and Hall is already at over 20% ownership, constantly rising. Also the Newcastle defence didn't seem as strong to me, as the recent results indicate, because they conseeded not so few big chances, actually! For example, it's quite a miracle or rather due to currently bad strikers that Wolves didn't score at least one goal against them and they played without Cunha... I own Sels, Milenkovic & Aina (+ Henderson, Muñoz, Young & Huijsen), since GW18 & they are all stadily rising in value🎉 Gonna sell at least Aina for a cheaper or same price in form alternative soon, probably from other clubs, though. Need Liverpool defenders & Alisson for GW24, so probably it's gonna be Konaté as he's the only reliable Liverpool defender I can currently afford. Among others I will monitor Chalobah, who's returning to Chelsea & did great, recently, at Palace. A shame, that he's leaving Palace, but who understands Chelsea's transfer strategies, anyway...
Hi Dan, thanks again. Would you class Semenyo a keep or sell ahead of the run of tough fixtures? (I can bench him GW23 and GW24 but also have Rogers so would need to play him GW22 or go 4 at the back (Castagne and Munoz). Alternative is to bring in Elanga.
Elanga currently is a great alternative, I think. But it depends on your current bank and Free Transfer status, considering your plans for DGW24 and after, I think. Is it really worth the transfer, now, or is it better to take the slight risk of a blank by either playing Semenyo or Rodgers in GW22 (after that Rodgers fixtures are ok...)
Playing Castagne against Leicester is also not too bad of a choice, I think. He might keep a clean sheet and, if you're lucky, provide an assist like in the FA-Cup... I'ld definitely play Muñoz with his fixtures & underlying offensive threat stats...
@@FPL_German_Reds 2.4m ITB, 3FTs. used my TC. Given my situation I was thinking of getting Slot in for GW24&25 and then trading him for someone with bonus potential in GW26 as at present I don't need to make transfers to get the cash. Would like to get Gordon but that would price me out of slot. Other transfers I am considering are Verbruggan to Pickford for DGW24 and might need to sell Joao Pedro if he is a doubt for GW22. @@carlmeade1667 Your current situation is a bit similar but even better than mine, I think: 1,1m ITB, 1FT, also used my TC, which I regret a lot, because it would've been better to keep it for DGW24! I currently tend to follow FPL Mate's recommendations in terms of chips strategy: Triple up on Liverpool (got Salah, obviously; rather in defence/goal, which would take me 2 transfers before GW24) & double or triple up on Everton (already got Young, 1 Transfer left before GW24 Deadline; also rather in defence/goal - in goal I'm hesitating between Alisson & Pickford, leaning towards the former, though -, except if McNeil get's fit & in form, in time, which is unlikely to happen, or if Everton buy a really promising, fit & in-form striker/offensive midfielder/winger, I might chose that option...) So, I probably won't use any of the left Chips until GW29, at the earliest, if possible, even only until GW33, as Dan recommended. This will be a huge Transfer challenge, though, as I'll probably have to get rid(or bench in GW29) of 2-3 Palace-, 3 Liverpool- & 2 Newcastle-players before that probable New-Pal & Liv-Villa BGW29, which would take minimum 4 of my 5 FTs between GW24 & GW29, if I then bench up to 3 of those players... Puhhh, possible, but really challenging. But probably worth it, if about succesful, because I'll have the Chips left for later, where they'll be more valuable, I think...

Play all four. I have the same problem. I am playing all 4 and benching rogers instead because he is playing arsenal away. Going with a 4-3-3 this week.
If your midfield & attack are all rather strong for GW22, I'ld go with a 3-4-3 & then definietely bench Robinson over the other 3 (because of what Dan said in the video, I also saw those Fulham highlights against West Ham...) Otherwise, see the comment above me
@ yeah. It’s between rogers or robinson for me. If I am playing rogers then it’s a 3-4-3. I am pretty sure that fulham will concede but I see the assist potential of robinson higher than an attacking return for rogers away at the emirates. But rogers is in great form so its tough. I’ll probably decide before the deadline tomorrow. Right now I am pretty set on starting robinson in a 4-3-3. Let’s see
@@devanshmodi4980 My gut says: Play Rogers, bench Robinson. I think - even with Villa's strong fixture at the Emirates & Fulham's supposedly easier fixture away to Leicester - it's currently more probable that Robinson blanks or returns maximum 5 points than it is for Rodgers. Rodgers is clearly in better form, Arsenal's defence has been more leaky, recently, & Villa, especially Rodgers are very strong in counter attacks... And Robinson's 2 "Assists" vs. West Ham actually were 2 harmless, normal passes to Iwobi who then put 2 very threatening crosses into the box, which both ended up in the goal without no further touches from anyone... So, Robinson got very lucky, there, because, normally it would rather have been 2 assists for Iwobi & 2 goals for Raul... And even in the matches before that I didn't see Fulham that strong, including Robinson. He seemed a bit harmless/uninspired offensively, to me, and definitely not top secure in defence... And, yes, Leicester's defence is the 2nd-leakiest in the PL, so far and they also struggle to score goals, themselves, often. But Fulham do struggle a bit more away than at home, also.... So, in sum, as I said, my gut is pro Rodgers, contra Robinson. Do share which decision you took, in the end, ok? :-)
Yes, and Murillo seems to be a decent option at currently 4,6£. Has been in strongly rising form, recently. Did you see his interception against Diaz on one of Liverpools counter attacks, for example? And he also had a decent shot from distance, which didn't miss the goal by far. In sum, if you have the money available I would go for Milenkovic and/or Murillo instead of Williams, although his low price tag seems appealing. They both seem to promise a bit more attacking threat on top of those decent defensive returns, although Murillo's xGI per 90 Min. admittedly is a tiny bit lower than Williamses. But from what I saw in the recent games, I stand with my position. Also, Murillo does take direct free-kicks, sometimes (for example in GW20), as he does have a quite strong shot in his locker... I own Sels, Milenkovic & Aina (+ Henderson, Muñoz, Young & Huijsen), since GW18 & they are all stadily rising in value🎉 Gonna sell at least Aina for a cheaper or same price in form alternative soon, probably from other clubs, though. You say sell Watkins but who would I sell him to? Wissa has Liverpool, mateta and gakpo are on my radar but I want to delay my 3rd Liverpool player as late as possible and mateta is also good but like I said, I want to delay Liverpool as long as possible so then I would need another transfer if I wanted gakpo. For my team is it really sensible to sell Watkins when everyone else is so unsure?
It's advice, not an order. If you're happy keeping Watkins, then do so. It's your team, and nobody else's. Do your own thing as nobody can predict the future exactly.
If you already have Wood and Isak, and there isn’t another forward you like, AND you don’t need the cash for other moves, then you can always postpone the Watkins move. But that is a pretty unique situation.
@@FPLMate thank you, i think im gonna go mateta though because i have a perfect budget to get mbeumo and konate in, but it is very risky becuase a lot of planned transfers when most people seem to be rolling

Laughable how Amad still gets overlooked over Bruno Fernandes. Amad has comfortably been Man Utd's best attacking player since Amorim has arrived and is way cheaper than Bruno. In most games, he pops up in goal scoring positions way more othen than Bruno.
@FPL Mate: "Buy, Sell, Keep, Avoid", "Chips Strategy" & other videos have been very helpful, so far. I like how you present & compare the stats, makes it easier to make good, strategic decisions... So, thanks a lot :-) Only one recommendation to make: How about you add the category of "Team Selected by" to your tables? I think it would help to point out Differentials or semi-Differentials for those who want or need to take a bit of risk in order to aim for big green arrows (For example, I only fou d out about & join3d FPL in GW18...). And I think there are some players that you included in today's video that have nice Diefferential potential but didn't get the according yellow ☆ in your tables (for example Murphy). Actually, per definition, by how many Teams has a player to be selected by in % to drop out of the Differential category?
I just add a star to a player who isn’t in the top 10 most popular transfers in their position per week. The % ownership is an interesting idea, but with millions of inactive teams, the overall data can be a bit useless. Haaland still has 30% ownership for example, but in the top million it’s probably more like 10%
@FPLMate Right, din't think about that factor. Good to consider, thanks Dan. As someone who only found out about and joined FPL in GW18, do you agree, though, that it's worth taking a bit more of a risk with differential picks and differential captain picks [captained Bruno for this GW, so hoping for tonight!... :-D] in order to hopefully hit as much big green arrows as possible & climb up the ladder quickly? Actually, could you give me a quick estimate of my current squad, bank status and Transfer plans, if I leave it here, in the comments? Thanks a lot again for your videos, anyway! They have been very helpful, so far! :-)
@@FPLMate Concerning your point about potentially useless data about overall ownership due to many inactive managers: Is there a possiblity to regularily get ahold of data about ownership of players in % by the Top 1-10% FPL managers? That might be far more interesting and helpful to chose strong differentials, right?
Reasonable question after that game against the Spurs. But that wasn't necessarily forseeable before that match given his (FPL-)form not being outstanding in recent weeks. And his price is very high, so he really would need to return at least 6-10 points again, next match, for me to hold on to him, if I owned him...
Who did that?!?!?! 😮😮😮😂😂😂 I mean, I already regret not having kept my initial plan of captaining him, going instead for even more glory with Bruno, failing "gloriously" in that attempt, as you kmow... 😂 But benching Isak just because he was flagged slightly yellow or what?! Really?! No, that's another level... 😂😂😂
@FPLMate but his fixtures are roughly better than Wood. But you saying his fixtures are worse. After Southampton Wood faces bou and Ful away who are both decent defences at home. Followed by New Ars who are top notch. JP has MU who are leaky at times definitely worse than Bou or Ful. After he is done with che and Forest he too has Southampton mate. Yes he does face Bou and Ful After that too but both at home and these two are more leaky away than at home. Underlying stats better than Wood Points/90 better than Wood Only concern is his fitness but if things goes as said in twitter if he's training he gets the minutes surely. The only reason Wood has more points than him is because of his long layoff earlier. And not forgetting the 1.2m price difference now.
humpf :-/ congrats to you! 🎉 I took the inverse choice & even captained Bruno over Isak, whom I wanted to captain, initially. Hoped for a huge green arrow, went for glory & turned out in shitty land... 😢 Well, Bruno's 2 bonus points for only 19 BPS saved me a bit, at least, there... Probably got at least a tiny green arrow compared to the over 4 million owners who captained Salah. Overall about 15.000 places up the table for me, as it stands, but apparently the new table-calculations are not fully done, yet, so still hoping for a bit more... But if I would have gotten Amad instead of Bruno, yesterday, to replace the unreliable Diaz, and captained Isak as planned initially, man, I would have had a field day, today! And all the money for future transfers, for example DGW24, I could have saved... A shame, really :-/ But, there you go: One manager has the right intuition, the other not, that's the game...
He’s a sell if you can’t bench him, or if you have another player in midfield who you really want to buy. But there’s no rush if not necessary
Want to make sure I have enough FTs to deal with BGW29 and plus any injuries and stuff that come my way.
@@carlmeade1667 Your current situation is a bit similar but even better than mine, I think: 1,1m ITB, 1FT, also used my TC, which I regret a lot, because it would've been better to keep it for DGW24!
I currently tend to follow FPL Mate's recommendations in terms of chips strategy: Triple up on Liverpool (got Salah, obviously; rather in defence/goal, which would take me 2 transfers before GW24) & double or triple up on Everton (already got Young, 1 Transfer left before GW24 Deadline; also rather in defence/goal - in goal I'm hesitating between Alisson & Pickford, leaning towards the former, though -, except if McNeil get's fit & in form, in time, which is unlikely to happen, or if Everton buy a really promising, fit & in-form striker/offensive midfielder/winger, I might chose that option...)
So, I probably won't use any of the left Chips until GW29, at the earliest, if possible, even only until GW33, as Dan recommended.
Thanks Dan, really helpful, still contemplating Jackson to Wood transfer. Please can you explain why Gabriel did not get an assist?
I can’t explain it! I think they could still update it
Fpl towers assumes dragusin got the last touch before Solanke did. Thats why Gabriel didn't get the assist.
Thanks for the replies Dan and @KesevanVigasangar. Strange that there are differences of opinions on who got the last touch, you would think it should be one official one but there you go. I just want my extra assist points 😀
Sorry @KV, I misread what you said, I suppose if it did hit Dragusin before Solanke that would explain it. Cheers
Since ball hit Dragusin and deflected to Solanke and in. Its classified as an own goal
I’ve already done Jesus to Wood

All my mini league colleagues, who were chasing me, have Iwobi and got ahead of me this week 😭 I hate him
I sold him after holding him for 5 weeks. Actual pain 😢
😂 I own him in 2 of my draft H2H-leagues, nearly replaced him before the DL, glad I didn't... 😂🎉 Will do so, soon, anyway, probably, maybe even for GW22, have to check the available alternatives again...
Hello Dan, Harry Wilson of Fulham is in my team. What are your thoughts on him. Will it be wise to keep him / sell him.
I know I'm not Dan but I think, as a differential, he's becoming interesting given his price, recent form, mostly starting / playing a lot of minutes...
Who else do you have in midfield & attack?
what are you thoughts on triple captain TAA in GW24? I think Salah doesn't have a very high ceiling in the 2 games
@@keyurwagh1511 don’t try it. Salah has a 99% chance to play both matches , whereas AA might play one or might be subbed early n come off bench for the next . I def know AA isn’t going to start both matches
Hello mate
Don’t know bout Munoz being a differential anymore lmfao, one of the most well known (if not THE biggest) ‘cheap beasts’ on the game haha
Watkins scored tonight and gets 3 bonus 😂 After Arsenal has good fixtures. West Ham, Wolves and Ipswich home
He’s still in rotation risk especially while Malen goined, U don’t won’t to put 8.9 mil on striker and find out he isn’t in the starting 11, there is so much other good options 🫣
@IdoSender Sell to Wood ? 2 above me in mini league have him
@ yeah I’m in a same situation, also need to get rid of Watkins, if U don’t have Wissa, I think he must be, also against Liverpool, brought him before Southampton, he hed, 1.48 xg vs Southampton and 1.54 XG against City, he’s incredible target striker, I’ll start him also in next GW vs Liverpool at Home,
@ and if u ask, I think I will go for differencial, Mateta or Solanke, I don’t know why I swear but I love Solanke so much, and he’s the target man and fixtures are good for both, so they’re both great
I don't agree with Rogers as an avoid
we buy Robinson for his attacking pts not necessarily for clean sheets
yeah, but if you see the West Ham - Fulham Highlights, as Dan pointed out in the video, those 2 assists were very lucky. So, you can't necessarily bank on his assists, in my opinion.
I get the impression that his form is rather decreasing over the past weeks... & there are other interesting options, right now.
So, I don't think that his high overall ownership is currently justified.
@@FPL_German_Reds in football you need luck as well. Not everything is xg. Look at Jackson vs wood.
@@alvaromontes2713 fair enough. But I watched half of Fulham's GW20 match & both highlights of GW20 & GW21 & it just didn't convince me, really, to buy him ahead of other options...

What’s the idea of captaincy this week Dan? I currently have it on Palmer but Isak, Salah and Wood are all contenders too
Another toss up between Salah, Palmer & Isak imo

You’re probably going to have to bench Hall tbh
or play 4 at the back
I could play all 4 if Pedro is out
Sold Raya after that tottnum goal...disaster
I remember when you only had nearly a dozen kits on that rack....
I think I’m up to 50 now… they don’t even fit on there anymore 😅
NOT THE YELLOW DORITO OF DEATH!!!!??
who do I bench for 22 between Hall,Munoz, Milenkovic and Robinson?
Play all four. I have the same problem. I am playing all 4 and benching rogers instead because he is playing arsenal away. Going with a 4-3-3 this week.
If your midfield & attack are all rather strong for GW22, I'ld go with a 3-4-3 & then definietely bench Robinson over the other 3 (because of what Dan said in the video, I also saw those Fulham highlights against West Ham...)
Otherwise, see the comment above me

@FPLMate ok. i just need bench/lineup options now. i want to try to get 4/5 FT.
Time for triple ?
2 goals from 19 shots is a terrible conversion rate for wissa, one assist and Liverpool up next he’s definitely an avoid
What about williams from notingham i see him perfect 4.3 and good attacking returns
1 assists and no goals 😂😂
Go for it if you have a tight budget, but be aware of Alex Moreno potentially taking some minutes from him at some point

Anyone here up for a new FPL draw league, starting GW22 or GW23?
Would need minimum 3 more players, preferably up to 7 to start...
Laughable how Amad still gets overlooked over Bruno Fernandes. Amad has comfortably been Man Utd's best attacking player since Amorim has arrived and is way cheaper than Bruno. In most games, he pops up in goal scoring positions way more othen than Bruno.
Problem is, he'd been saying this since when Aina was 4.6!!! 😆
@FPL Mate: "Buy, Sell, Keep, Avoid", "Chips Strategy" & other videos have been very helpful, so far. I like how you present & compare the stats, makes it easier to make good, strategic decisions... So, thanks a lot :-)
Only one recommendation to make: How about you add the category of "Team Selected by" to your tables?
@@FPLMate Concerning your point about potentially useless data about overall ownership due to many inactive managers:

Why would I sell Odegaard lol
Reasonable question after that game against the Spurs. But that wasn't necessarily forseeable before that match given his (FPL-)form not being outstanding in recent weeks. And his price is very high, so he really would need to return at least 6-10 points again, next match, for me to hold on to him, if I owned him...
@FPL_German_Reds fair analysis, I think I'll hold him 1 more week

You're overly bias towards JP.
Really? I feel like I’m quite neutral on him in this video
Underlying stats better than Wood
Points/90 better than Wood
Only concern is his fitness but if things goes as said in twitter if he's training he gets the minutes surely. The only reason Wood has more points than him is because of his long layoff earlier.
And not forgetting the 1.2m price difference now.
Oh you think I’m biased AGAINST João Pedro? 😅 that is very surprising
Here after Amad scored a hatrick in the last 12 minutes 🤣 value for money vs Bruno feels good this week
humpf :-/ congrats to you!
Congrats again, what a haul by Amad! 🎉
