I agree. I don’t know why so many RUclipsrs think they need background music, especially when they’re speaking. I don’t even need to hear music even when they’re doing something that doesn’t include speaking. Especially since the free, non-copyrighted music they all seem to choose is the most annoying music ever written.

Hi! My husband and I just had our AC replaced yesterday and our old thermostat was replaced with the T4 Pro. I have it set for permanent hold at 74°. I liked having a thermostat that would allow the temp to get to 75° and then kick on to cool it down to 73°. This thermostat is constantly trying to keep it at a steady 74° so it's kicking on and cooling too often in my opinion. Is there a way to change that?

    • @NewHVACGuide
      @NewHVACGuide  4 года назад +1

Kim H hello. The Honeywell thermostats do you have a band width with it going up a degree and then cooling it down to half a degree below the setpoint. It does not reflect that on the screen but it is operating that way. I’m not sure if you can increase that band width on a T4. Some thermostats you can. But if you feel like your new system is running too often, try calling the installation company to check it over again

Hello. Thanks for the video. It was very helpful. Just one question.
Recently, I built an off grid cabin and installed a williams propane stove. Since there is no electricity (I do have a generator that I use when I'm there) I am planning on using this thermostat with the primary source of power being the batteries. My question is: Do I just run one wire from the thermostat "W" slot (heat) to the wire identified as "thermostat" on the stove?
Again, thanks for the video and any help would be greatly appreciated.

The problem is once in a while the temp permanent cold at 76 and the fan turns on, we notice the air coming from vents ramps up to super hot over 100, then it turns drops slowly itself to cool slowly, but for a few minutes prior the heat is being pumped out. Any ideas?

When we had ac guy out second time he told my wife we had schedule set wrong which i did not set wrong, so he set heat to come on at 60 and turned off the schedule. I turned the schedule back on because it shouldnt have to be turned off to work, but we used permanent hold cool at 76 and we leave it like that.

      Anyway...
1- I found the music a little distracting, as it was just a bit too loud and background music is really not necessary for this type of video.
2- When you hold the thermostat, facing yourself, it’s hard to tell what buttons you’re pushing. A “first person” camera view looking at the unit without you in the picture would be better. Hope that helps and good luck.

Annoying music… Why add distracting bad music? I’ll find another vid… no “like” from me.

OK why is music playing when you are talking...it's distracting and serves no purpose. I can't listen to this.

    Why
    Why
    Never look at the date
    Why
    It’s cold it don’t work
Can’t turn it up or down
    Best way to fix it
    Sledge hammer
I don’t hate anyone bad enough to do this to them
