i used to have the old model GT5-12D@2Ohm before unfortunately, my friend fall in love with it and force me to sell it to him :( i wonder if this one sound as good as the old at 4Ohm coz i can't get the GT5-12D anywhere nowadays also is it enough if I powering it with Kenwood KAC-8106D for single sub build thanks.
Thats 4ohm sub. And i put it in series so i get 2 ohms for deeper bass. You can try it, sounds really good. 300w to 1200watts peak RMS. Good match for your amp:)
@@dennesbillones5863 thanks for your reply :) ,i just received my GT5-S12 today, by the way it looks, it is way superior than the old 12D,larger magnet port,High temp coated Voice Coil, i got a feeling it's will hit harder than 12D, waiting for the amp and the box so i can test it properly, I'm so excited after seeing this sub :)
