This is not when a fortnite player plays minecraft, I made a $10,000 seed finding competition, 1,000,000 villagers simulate civilization, if minecraft was controlled by parents, if minecraft gave you advice, if minecraft was free to play or any video like that. "skyblocks". I play it and it shouldn't be called skyblocks because the only similarity is the sky part. And barely. The grind is addicting
There's a version of the game called: "stranded" that's more similar to the original if you wanna try
I love how the main appeal to skyblock is the simplicity and limited resources which is what made it so popular, and guess how most servers do it now? If you said by removing both of those factors good job, you win a pumpkin.

2:18 3 hours? That's really lucky! You usually have to wait in the Queue for 12 hours, sometimes the queue line is over a day!

@@Scarlett_Slytherin867 Don’t worry, only 2b2t is like that all the time. I’ve seen Hypixel have a queue before, but only when a major update came out or during those attacks.

I wish I found out about essentials mod earlier. It extends your LAN worlds so that any of your friends can join them...
@@yas_g Yup, with variants of the Log-4j exploit still circulating around the server and all. If you turn off the chat in settings and hide your base underground, it is pretty fun though… just don’t be surprised if your base gets griefed eventually.
This was basically me playing Minecraft on that one friend’s realm. He had super strict rules but he kept breaking them because according to him, he was the owner and he could do whatever he wanted

That's why I play on small Survival Servers with only like 20 active players on average. They usually don't have pay2win and have nice staff (At least, the german servers are like this).

average server for me experience: i get all these weird pop ups, the chat goes extremely fast, i try to look for a team but then get teleport killed (or whatever its called) then finally find someone who doesnt wanna kill me and just wants to trade, and then i finally go to start finding ores but im telling you, i travelled so far just to see no ore in sight, i was curious if there even were ores and i set my render distance to 32 and turned xray on and there were only 2 diamonds scattered in that whole area

I love how sometimes in past I played some Minecraft pvp gamemodes and there always was this one dude hitting from 5 blocks at supersonic speed and his excuse was that he is drag clicking on some good ass mouse 💀

Honest opinion: Any thing at all ingame(servers) shouldnt exceed half the price of the game itself. And i MEAN THE MAXIMUM PRICE for the HIGHEST RANK and it should be permanent not some subscription based BS.

I got banned on a server for trying to complete a quest where I had to place flowers, so I took ONE FLOWER from someone's base and destroyed it a bunch, and at the end I placed it back and I got banned.

0:43 and mg me and my friend played on hypixel last night, we played bed wars 5 times on the 4th time we were ages to one Blue 3v1 and he was so good at pvp that he won. Then we played tnt run. And my friend got 7th place, then we played random game, and It was fun, so when we play now we are doing random game
Honestly block claims can be good for storing stuff that nobody else can access but I still understand the frustration.
I paid $100 for the Overlord rank on the DiamondFire server. All I can say is it was worth it. It's the only server I ever play on Minecraft anymore lol.

I play Minecraft with my friends and there was so much chaos that i built a secret base inside a cave and then everyone came there stole my diamonds so i built a secret basement with a secret Minecart chest but then someone saw it and then everyone was there AGAIN. I BUILT A NORMAL FARM WITH A SIGN SAYING: DO NOT DESTROY. And you probably know what happened. They broke the farm.. hours spent building redstone and getting water... Gone.. it got so bad that we had to get rules.

relatable and the smp sucks too, i just want an smp without those fancy plugins that overcomplicate the game so much, and if you get griefed, just deal with it.
edit: also oneblock games also sucks too, the game was supposed to be mining YOUR OWN resources but you can easily buy it in other people shop with ease, it just takes the oneblock for me. Now its Player Warp Island Game type of shit.

I never understood ranks to be honest. Especially on Minecraft SMP servers.
I would get behind ranks if they were cosmetics only, to dress your characters up or add "partical" trails, ive seen some do that.
But when the ranks give you "Insert an insane amount of Diamonds here" and "Insert an Insane amount of nethetrite here" and a crazy amount of claim blocks, wtf? The server literally becomes a play to win, or a pay to get better then anyone else. It's literally just a "legal" way to cheat.
And sometimes I don't understand how "economy servers" work. What's the point of an economy if everyone has everything? And what sucks, is that some players would sell "mod loot" or "game loot" at crazy in-game currency prices, and no one would buy them.
Why?
Because A: People already have what they're selling.
B: The people who dont have it don't have it a rank obviously, they dont have all that in-game currency to buy anything.
It never makes any sense. It makes SMPs these days just feel lifeless. I've played on a few SMPs in my time of playing Minecraft, and the quality of builds on them just dropped. I'm not a good builder in Minecraft so to speak, but i always try my best to make decent things.
And usually I love to walk around and explore servers to see what other people make-
And these days, it's just the same thing: Ugly as F redstone farms just for them to max out thier in-game currency. I cant tell you when was the last time I found someome making a town, or deccent homes. Or at least a town that has people in them. Last server i played in, had a few towns. But all of them were more deserted then what New York looked like when Covid hit. Its crazy.
Sorry for this long as rant, but this video reminded me why I nerver really liked ranks.

But I'd definitely do things differently and sell the OP items for little to nothing to players who'll most likely never get to use them. The economy is fked anyways, might as well F it down more.
