Good to keep one in Open E, just for that very occasional Blackfoot moment. I love the look of the AF but completely agree with all you said about it.
I don’t have all the tuning issues that a lot of people have with Gibson style headstocks so it’s more of an insurance policy. I don’t use it on all of them because I think it detracts aesthetically from the Les Paul logo and the truss rod cover engraving. That said, I think it actually makes the Kalamazoo headstock on my epiphone look kinda fancy!

How do u like the string butler? does it help keep it in tune?
