MayMay I don't comment much! I refer to fussy cutting as cussy cutting as it is hard on my hands these look like a whole new world for me. Thank you for showing them 😊😊
His shears are my favorite. I have the smaller snips, too. I did delete every e-mail I got about these new scissors this morning. I thought "I'm happy with what I have and I hate the one pair of recoil scissors I have." Enablers! LOL Tim does know how to make a great craft product.
The use of the recoil/spring is very similar to the snips and secateurs I use in the garden😀. I hate it though when the spring suddenly decides to ping out of the setting place and then it is found when the lawnmower goes over it🤔🙄
Thank you may may for showing us the new Tim holtz scissors and shears they both look wonderful, although the scissors look incredible and wonderful for lefties as well right handed users.❤ Impressive.
Hi I finally got on but you’re ahead of my time. I love you guys and May May those cute little folios that you can cut in half to make two, I’ve made 10 of them and have four finished. Absolutely love folios!!! They are my favorite!!!!/. Thank you for the free tutorials!!! Congratulations on your new grandson! Aren’t they so much fun? ❤
I already have Tim’s originals, such high quality, but have used “reverse action” little scissors (Fiskars) a long time (which he calls recoil) and they’re the only type I can use for long periods because of an old minor hand injury and arthritis. But I’m getting Tim’s too!
I deleted other emails without even looking at these this morning. However, when Maymay says this is a GREAT tool, I am listening. Ordered mine! Thank you Maymay
Oh, I love the serrated edge on the old ones because it allows so much precision and stopping on a dime without over cutting. These may be a good addition?
Love it! That's the only kind I can use because of arthritis in my thumb, I can't us a thumb loop. A couple well known companies make them, but I think these will be better quality. I use them for sewing.
The spring makes it easier because you don’t have to both open and close the scissors. Once you close them while you are cutting, they spring back open by themselves. Your hand is only doing half of the work that it does with standard scissors. I hope this helps.
I have Fiskars brand, same type. Have had for about 10 years. I love them because they are easy on my hands. I have arthritis and carpal tunnel. Tim Holtz is great quality.
@ssbalmera7464 It is much less strain on your hands. If you have arthritis or any kind of hand problems you will find them soo much easier to use. I have R.A. and my hands hardly open..... Without these type of scissors , I can't cut anything at all.
Just got the sissors and love them - snips will be next - love them for my arthritic hands

Wonder if he’s going to expand the textiles and fabric?…. 🧐
It’s the orientation of the blade that makes them Right handed

❤ I saw the announcements rolling out on this release this morning. Then saw your video and I knew you'd have the real deal review. 😊 Thanks Maymay!
I have both sizes in the original. But those are cool!
Can you compare these to the Elizabeth Craft fine pointed scissors? Is one more comfortable for your hands?
I use another brand of the snips all the time. I will definitely need a pair of these
Have the 9.5” and the snips!
Already have the originals 👍
Great review thank you MayMay :) Hugs from the Tonic team!
Thank you for this great review 🤩. I have already ordered mine and can’t wait to use them 🥰
Watching rerun. Will the spring be easier or more difficult for people with arthritis?
The spring makes it easier because you don’t have to both open and close the scissors. Once you close them while you are cutting, they spring back open by themselves. Your hand is only doing half of the work that it does with standard scissors. I hope this helps.
Already got TH red handle snips ‼️ regular size + small size . Mine are self sharpening. Are new ones self sharpening ❓❓❓
Will these scissors cut wire ribbon?
Hi, the larger ones will cut wire ribbon with ease, thanks
I already have his others.
Are these better for people with arthritis and hand pain? I have his red handled scissors and they hurt my hands. I am praying I can use these!
I have Fiskars brand, same type. Have had for about 10 years. I love them because they are easy on my hands. I have arthritis and carpal tunnel. Tim Holtz is great quality.
