It wasn’t too bad, all I was aware of was that they had put the blue stuff on my teeth and then took it off (which wasn’t painful) and then I’m pretty sure they use air to make the teeth dry, which doesn’t hurt either because it’s just cold air! 😂 As much as I can remember, I don’t think anything about the procedure of putting the braces on is painful 😊 hope this helped!

I think the pain depends on how much pressure there is in the wire, I had a really painful experience because of the pressure on the bottom wire but it depend on u and also ice cream rlly helps

My 8 year old sister had to get braces when she was 6 because she had a severe underbite and had an openbite in the back. She still have an underbite, but not as severe any more. I also had the “tongue thrust” problem and now I have a bit of a gap between my top and bottom teeth. I had to get “tongue buttons” on the back of my bottom teeth so it would hurt to do that and I was basically forced to swallow with my tongue on the top of my mouth.
I’m going to the ortho for the first time tomorrow morning to get a referral on my teeth. My tooth was pulled a couple of years ago and never showed signs of growing back in, so I got an x-ray and it turns out it’s growing in completely sideways.
I’m going for consultation tomorrow and I was nervous at first but after watching almost all of ur vids I’m actually getting excited. My mom isn’t because our insurance doesn’t cover ortho

I have some kind of condition where there is no growing permanent teeth. So I still have baby tooth (and I am 17) So dentists have told me that I have to get some fake teeth once the baby tooth falls off. The baby tooth has no roots left and is still somehow there. Lol.
I had something similar but I'm not sure if it's the same thing as you. I had an adult tooth that was basically stuck in my jaw. It wasn't coming down and the baby tooth wasn't falling out. It's called an impacted tooth. To fix it, I had to have surgery where they pull out the baby tooth and attach a chain from my stuck tooth to my braces that pulls it down. Now it came down and it looks great! Again, I don't know if this is what is wrong with your tooth/teeth.
@@daniellerose6712 for me it's like there is no permanent teeth growing. On the xray we saw that no teeth was below the baby tooth that could push the baby tooth out and replace it.

I’m getting 4 teeth extracted in just under a month and then about a week after getting braces 😬 Slightly scared for the extraction 😱😳😬😥 Is it going to hurt??
I've gotten 4 teeth taken out at once before and no, it does not hurt. Dentists usually use novocaine to numb in those areas. It may hurt after the numbing wares off when the appointment is over but I think you can take pain meds for that and you have gauze to stop the bleeding. Good luck on the braces! Mr. Bentist, found you the other day and you’re the man. Two questions: is there such thing as “over flossing”? I know that sounds crazy but I’m starting to become a little OCD with flossing, I’ll do it in the morning when I wake up, every time after I eat, and obviously after dinner/before bed. Second question: I’m and avid user of Crest White Strips, can I damage my teeth if I wear these things too much? I would say I average once/week. In the past I’ve done multiple rounds of wearing them everyday so the once per week keeps my teeth feeling and looking white. Keep up the fantastic content.
Dear the bentist, I spent lots of time wishing I had a better smile, and one day when I lost all of my baby teeth I thought that would come. I have a tooth on the top around the side of my mouth that is pointy and it kinda sticks out and doesn't come all the way down. I don't like the way it looks when I smile, and I thought I would always have that weird not all the way in tooth, it had also grown behind a baby tooth for awhile bc the baby tooth wasn't out yet and it just went in front, anyways from your videos I learned that dentists can use braces for more than straightening teeth they can fix my tooth and pull it down!!!!!! Dear the bentist, I spent lots of time wishing I had a better smile, and one day when I lost all of my baby teeth I thought that would come. I have a tooth on the top around the side of my mouth that is pointy and it kinda sticks out and doesn't come all the way down. I don't like the way it looks when I smile, and I thought I would always have that weird not all the way in tooth, it had also grown behind a baby tooth for awhile bc the baby tooth wasn't out yet and it just went in front, anyways from your videos I learned that dentists can use braces for more than straightening teeth they can fix my tooth and pull it down!!!!!! In June I am going back to the orthodontist to hopefully get braces!!! Thank youuuuuu
I will tell you about the Trans-Palatal Arch I got that when I was 4 years old so it kinda explains it self it does not hurt but sometimes it gets uncomfortable but you will get used of that it is not a big deal.
