It is a cool kit to build and there are certainly some real fiddly bits like that window netting that take some time get on there! Looks great and the glimpse of the running video looks cool!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays my friend!
I'm building one at the moment and I very much appreciate the tips. I've wanted a Wild One for a long while and when this model was announce, I just had to order it. What a great looking buggy!! All the best to you and have a Merry Christmas. 😊
Great ones, thanks for all the tips. Would you stay with silvercan motor or a new one ? I'm tempted to install a Sport Tuned motor instead of the stock motor. Can't wait to see how she perform !
Hi it runs pretty nice with the stock sliver can. I have 20T motors in my FAV same buggy different tires and they run good also but you need to use the smaller pinion when you use a higher RPM motor so it stays cool. Thanks for watching I will have the run video some time soon.
Hi there Steve, Merry Christmas my friend. Oh yes on this one, she is a beauty for sure. Just like the WildOne a lot. The gearbox on them kind of remind me of the Subaru Brat / The Frog style of gearbox, and the suspension setup, reminds me of the proper Tamiya hood old days! Love it. Some good hints and tips in there too, you’re a real guru my friend. Take care, enjoy the holidays with the family. 😊😉😊
Another beautiful build brother Steve.!! My favorite so far is the Sand Scorcher everybody has built.!! I will eventually pick one up for myself and give it a go. This is a really great share my friend. Merry Christmas to you and your family..!! 🎄🎄🎄 Is really good pointers at the end of the video. I still think these are just gorgeous RC cars when they are finished. Well done my friend.!!
IMHO that is one of the best looking tamiyas ever. Also good to see you still rollin with the gen8 v1 like me! Also if you want to send me one of those shocks I can design some retainers in C.A.D and ship them back to you with the shock.
Yeah it really sharp looking.👍 The G8 is a nice rig. I don't know why they make it like that it don't make any sense it don't work at all I probably will just put a plastic pipe around the bottom to make it larger so the spring wont slide sideways and hit the shock body. Thanks and Merry Christmas
Boy oh boy this sure is a real work of art from Tamiya! I’m glad you were able to get your hands on one Steve! Great job on this video brother!👍😊 Merry Christmas to you and your family my friend!🎄
Very nice Steve, I started my Blockhead build the other day, I'll take a look at your tire tip. It sure is a thing of beauty, I cant wait to finish it and I want the re re-release of the Black & Red one now (should be coming out soon). Awesome job man, love it!!!! Happy Holidays to You & Yours!!!!!!
Thank you, Definitely trim the tires beads off a hair they don't seat good at all on the wheels without even trying to glue them so if you try to glue them they will come out very bad, Trimming them makes them seat perfectly. This is one beauty for sure!! Merry Christmas!
Most excellent job Steve! Really cool way to bring it to us in a stage by stage format. It looks fantastic brother! Love it! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 to you my friend!🤙🏽😁😜
Great stuff, Steve - this has got to be one of the best looking buggies ever! Love it. Thanks for the tips, I'll remember them for my build! All the best, take care, bud! 😁🎄🎁👍
I don’t recall the tree or number, but if you look on your leftover parts there’s a little cup that helps the front springs stay in place. Idk why Tamiya didn’t list it in the build. It’s like a step they missed.
I really like the design of the Tamiya Wild One Old Buggy.
I bought one too, thanks for the tip
Beautiful car mate! Love to get one for myself in the future

Hey! Great build. How did you manage the on/off on the HW esc? I had to get creative. Thanks!
Hi Thanks, For the esc I just left it in the on position and make the car come on when you plug the battery in.
@@ShenRC ah gotcha. Thanks!

Yeah I think there is a part like that on the tree. Thanks
There for sure is. I used it on mine.
Your driver looks very scared man...... hahahaha
😁He he he .... He better be scared when I am driving! LOL!! Thanks for watching
