@@thomasmule4577 Tommy (the ex lead singer for those that see this and are confused), spilled all the beans on everything. When you hear a song on the radio, spotify, apple music etc, the only thing that is any of the musicians actual work is Tommy's vocal/ writing. The drums, bass, guitar are all played in a studio by someone else (happens with alot of bands I know) but they don't create their own riffs, beats, whatever. The only thing they did, besides Tommy, was tour for the live shows. So he isn't THAT skilled as other guitarists (Jerry Cantrell, who writes their music) and doesn't deserve much credit.
He wants his vocals louder in his monitor, with a band that loud on stage the monitor engineer may be struggling to get it loud enough without it feeding back.
I was at this Rockville, that whole weekend was f*cked on sound. Every band pretty much ended up sounding like ass because whoever they had running sound obviously got their experience from a cracker jacks bag.

The song is not anti-Police. It's actually about trying to change each narrative and break the cycle of senseless killings on both sides.
