These close in face shots of momo show what a handsome silver back he is, stunning. Genki is a perfect pairing, her face is so sweet, such expressive eyes especially when she looks at her boys. The boys are going to be heartbreakers for sure when they're grown up.
I love it when Momo makes Kintaro flinch at 3:20. The face Momo makes when doing it, and Kint wasn't even looking at him! He just could sense he did it I guess basically. I must've re-watched that little part 15 times lol
Momotaro is one of the most handsome silver back gorilla I've ever watched , he is definitely a good looking one , the only thing he's to serious , I watch another gorilla's family and , don't remember now his name but I watched a video that made laugh a lot , the male was playing with his wife in a very adorable way , she was playing hard to get but not for long and I was so surprised about how much physically the got with each other. Momo is a good father but to serious most of the time .

I *wished* they had a different enclosure. Yesterday I saw a video Lieke had made. 'Mies goes for a wlk' or so. Mies is a little girl and around Kintaro's age. To see her walking through the meadows, finding something tasty, meeting g one of the Manhabeys which live with the Gorillas, and so on. She even met the Silverback without any fear. They have lots of space and do not become nervous. I would LOVE to give my sweet Momotaro and his family those opportunities , too! Thank you for this video! Totally agree, if we are going to keep these magnificent animals in captivity then we have a duty to enhance their lives with space, healthy diet and an enviroment that at least resembles their natural habitat.
Mies may have meadows to roam, but Kintaro has beams to walk and slide on , ropes, ladders, trees, balls, hanging tires, old plant containers, hammocks, swings, and old tires to climb. Etc. lots to do

I’ve come to the conclusion when I see signs of runny noses , using blankets, holding heads & low energy & irritation. Like humans no one is happy if they feel off ! At 3:22 is the exact look my dad would give me when I was annoying him. He of course would never backhand me but I’m so amazed how humanlike that gesture is! I just love little Kintaro! I can watch him all day! Definitely my favorite gorilla family. I wonder what he will do if he gets a new baby sister or brother!

Sometimes I wonder what dad is thinking, he's a big guy. They seem happy and loved. Baby is so cute. I know they should be in the wild. But sometimes that's not possible because of man. God bless them.

Little Kintaro is such a slick little devil🤣🤣🤣 just gives it such a nonchalant toss & keeps going! But then then Big Daddy give him a quick "flex" just to see him flinch! I love these guys♡♡♡
Does Genki have some type of anxiety with food as well? She’s always eating super fast and seems like she is always hungry. I’ve seen her snatch food out of Kintaro’s hands too luckily he’s learned to keep a tight grip on his food and has learned to move away from her a bit while he’s eating. I know they get plenty of Genki’s favorite grass for her and there’s only 4 of them so it’s a much smaller group then others so it’s just kind of odd how she is with food. Even Momotaro doesn’t seem to be in much of a rush to eat...He’s possessive of his food but I don’t see him snatching food from the babies or frantically looking around or rushing for the food.
Please give them more appropriate place similar to their habitat. This is cruel, don't try to be kind to him. He is a grown up father confused as hell why he is in this tiny place with metals around him.
How Kintaro walked feeling great and impressing while drumming his belly! Momotaro looked in disbelieve: 'what da hell is dat?'; then yawned, and suddenly- Kintaro saw Daddy's teeth- Kintaro left the " I am impressingg'- mode and, though trying to move impressing still, tarted to run and hopping, like a little rabbit!
Kintaro pooped when he was playing with the lady at 1:59 min. He picked it up, and at 2:59 min as he walked Momotaro, he artfully threw poop with his right hand and immediately tapped his head with his right hand as a diversion (?). Momotaro noticed it and flung it away. As Kintaro continues to play near Momotaro, Momotaro gives him a "You better not!" look at 3:22 min
Aww looks like kintaro either has allergies that make him itchy or flees. I have a dog that is allergic to the grass we have so we have to give him medication. Humans get weird allergies too, maybe they should see of he is allergic to something in the enclosure.
It would be nice if the keepers could provide a bit more enrichment for the gorillas besides clapping, scratching, and tickling them. Maybe they do and we don't see it but every video is the same with this. However they do seem to love the gorillas but how bored these poor gorillas must get. Give them something different once in a while. Maybe some different types of toys too if possible. They might enjoy some type of water feature as well. I know they don't like to get full on wet but they still might like something to do with water once in a while.
