yes, andy is underrated; but we have to think that world is full of great musicians unknown... by the way, camel has a good part of good music lovers fans... thanks andy and all the past and present members of this magic group
Saw Andrew live in Barcelona 2015 (Be prog Festival), the only time i have ever bursted into tears in a concert, AL is one of my biggest influences on guitar.
This is probably my favourite Camel track. My favourite albums are Rajaz and Moonmadness, I can't choose between them. It's great that a lot of Moonmadness was played live in the last few years, but it's such a shame that I never heard anything from this, Sahara would be phenomenal to hear live! I love how this goes from so languid to so energetic and with such a searing solo and then back again! And of course 7/8 is a bonus :-) This and Lawrence are the perfect ending to a brilliant album, one which I associate with hot days (not that we get many in here!) -- I always play it a lot in summer, it evokes the right mood.
I constantly listen to Dust and Dreams as it's a beautiful album. I don't follow the crowd. I feel when we are fans, we stick to them with every album all the way till the end !
Camel, seem them so many times down Fairfield Halls,Croydon, freeking great band.Andy Latimer underrated guitarist.Best tracks Sahara and Ice.Good to know Andys ok and looking forward to a new album
