Very misleading!!! You said you knew the pain of trying to get the art to fit all devices, yet you never gave the answer! You should change the title (which you can still do) and stop wasting peoples time on misleading video titles!!
Marley you are very clear but you didn't show "how to use Canva" as in title you gave a lot of value around the topic but I think we need to watch the next video to get it. So the tilte should be different. More like "about setting up your RUclips Channel Art." I'm showing it to a client to help them- you showed how to log in and see different views of YT channel so that was helpful...I think it was a bit more high level than the titled implied.
Thank you for the feedback! Yes I do briefly show a screen share at 4:47 of the RUclips channel art template on Canva. I don't go too deep into it as Canva makes it so simple to use but that is a great future video idea if you want me to demonstrate farther!
Thank you so much... this really helped, but a quick tip. if you are using a apple laptop you have to use Chrome and not Safari. It will not let you add a picture when you are on Safari and give you an error. It took me about 1/2 trying to figure this out. :). One I started using Chrome I was able to upload it into the RUclips banner.
Problem is Marley did not teach how to make channel art. My first attempts using Canva were a disaster. When I uploaded my finished art, what showed up was a small part of what I did. I did not know how to use the Google template at that time. I wish she would have shown how to take a Canva template, add custom info, and then use a template to make sure what you are trying to say is in the right spot and then upload it to RUclips (after you verify your account).

Hey Liisa! You can opt for your own dimensions by choosing "custom dimensions" for your Canva project. I'm not sure why the text would be cutting off for you, but I do find that putting most of your banner text near the centre of the image helps prevents errors. It’s important to have a professional RUclips channel art because it is just one part of a complete video content strategy. That is why I made a video tutorial on my channel on how to make a RUclips banner with Canva.
Once again, this greatly helped me making my banner! I struggled greatly with the sizes though haha😅Even adding custom dimensions didn't help me - I had to tweak my banner as I go and kept re-uploading. Very important the part about "optimizing" your RUclips about/profile!!! Thanks for sharing 😊

You can just put your social media links in any description of any video! And yes you’ll have an about section on your channel!
