Compare 16 plus and 16 pro max. The plus has 3 microphones and max has 4. I believe this is just apple marketing and there is no difference or is there?
The first and third options sound like studio quality, with the first having a more balanced midrange than the third, and the second microphone quality in the sequences for each guitar and drum song samples being more focused on midrange than treble and bass. So the first is balanced, second is more midrange focused, and third is more bass and treble focused with quieter midrange frequencies. That's what I hear between the microphone qualities for the guitar recordings. First option is perhaps the semi-pro mic and the rest are built-in iPad microphones. A guess. Going in blind here (blind joke). Cheers!
Interesting - and apologies for not clearly stating which recordings were which in the video itself. The first of the three recordings is the studio microphones in the iPad Pro, the second is the iPhone 13’s microphone and the last is the RØDE NT-1 through the audio interface!
Nice cherry-pick from this event Patrick, not surprised they are going in this direction with some of the gaming-oriented updates to the iPhone, but we're sure there will be some kickback benefit for producers on the go as well, and that's always a good thing.
Ugh - what a hassle it was. It’s why there are only two guitar tracks in that project. I had to listen to the metronome set to the same bpm through headphones connected to my iPad in order to play in time while recording the guitar into the iPhone. I would have connected a pair of Apple wired headphones I have via the lightning port in the iPhone, but if you do that GarageBand automatically switches to recording through the mic on the headphones.
Thank You for Everything! Today's Question-> "When I have my Interface plugged into Imac I Bluetooth Headphones to imac but then Can't Hear what's coming through Interface??? Is there a Way to use Cordless Bluetooth Headphones to Hear the Computer while Recording with an Interface that's Not Bluetooth Compatible? 🤔
I believe you can change your Mac's audio settings to output to your bluetooth headphones instead of the audio interface. HOWEVER - You will probably experience a LOT of latency this way, so if you're tracking/recording, attaching wired headphones to your interface would be a better option.
It took me a while to get to this as life has been hectic as fuck recently but holy shit I'm so glad you're doing tracks from the room below sessions on Sundowning. It'd be dope if you did their cover of "when the partys over"
Apple rather confusingly call the 12.9” M2 Pro the 6th generation and the 11” M2 Pro the 4th generation. There wasn’t an 11” Pro for the first two Pro generations I guess.
Great demo ..I've found that my iPad Pro 4th Gen, records GREAT backup vocals...great mics! You cannot tell that it's not a studio mic set-up!!👍
I’m honestly impressed with the sound of the iPad mics!
The rode with the interface is so rich!

The iPad Pro could absolutely do the job, hell, it’s almost as good as the microphone I currently use
How u do this 😮

Oh wow, that changes the opinions lol. Because the first Mike was very balanced sounding to me.

Thank you, great video
The iPad Pro cardioid microphone quality is definitely better than iPhone 13, and also compete the RODE microphone.
It definitely holds its own.
I own the iPhone 13 and thought it sounded pretty good but with this comparison it appears to lacking big time!
It is true
Was the 13 being recorded in Garageband? How do you record to the click if you are using the mic to record?

I love your videos! Great job.
Thanks so much, I appreciate you watching!

Oh yes, Telefunken U47, on Iphone. That sounds cool.

Sorry but isn't it the ipad pro 4th gen? I though that the M2 was the 4th while the M4 was the 5th?

@@TheGaragebandGuide Thanks for the explanation, yes, it is very confusing
That one dissonant note ruins the song
