I have a problem with my L bar sealer. I do not know if the OMRON E5CN heater drivers or the thermocouple or the heater itself are damaged. After measuring the resistance of the thermocouple, 10 ohms come out of both knives. After measuring with a spirograph, the temperature of the knife housing, which makes the correct welds, comes out in the range of 180-195 degrees along the entire length, and the OMRON is set stably at 220 cels. A knife that does not weld, its housing has a temperature range of 60 to 140 degrees when OMRON is set at 230 cels. Should I check how many amps go to a working heater and the one that is probably damaged? Could the cause be a thermocouple that feeds badly on OMRON?
I did the same exact steps and the "at" item does not appear for me in the "L.adj" menu. Somehow my other settings must be inhibiting my ability to autotune. What other settings are there that autotune is dependent on?
Your controller is probably configured for ON/OFF control instead of PID. See Section 3-4 at page 51 of the E5CN manual. Or contact me at service@pyromaitre.com, it will be easier to exchange through e-mail. Alex

Unfortunately, it is not an application that we are familiar with. I am not sure how we can help.

Thanks for reply. I had in PID however I found the issue is that you must have output on in order to access auto-tune. I didn't catch that prior
how did you autotune i hve same problem
