Thank you for showing Estes! I sure do miss walking down that Main Street! And the taffy- oh my goodness… lol Our favorite place to eat there was The Rock Inn. Have you ever been there? Off Main Street so not too busy usually and they had live music sometimes. Apple critters are my FAVORITE! I’ve never even considered making them myself- thank you for sharing! Blessings from south Texas!
I am so glad I filmed that then! I definitely plan to more when the tourist season dies down a little bit. That's actually one place we haven't eaten at in all these years!! Thanks for mentioning it! These fritters are so good and too easy to make, I hope you give them a try sometime! Blessings! ❤️
Great vidio , Thank u for taking us along Bees looking great hope the orange is ok Take care til next time , I just picked all thr apples off one tree so might make some fritters tomorow for hubby , Urs look great
Thank you so much! I think the orange is okay after talking to a local bee apiary. If you end up making the fritters, I hope you and hubby enjoy them! 😊
1/3 powder milk is almost 1 cup. I grew up on powdered milk. Add powder to dry ingredients then add water . Don’t have to mix separate. If you know measurements and can do it that way. I do that
I wonder if you could add a little sourdough to the recipe and still get the same results?🤔 Loved the video BTW! ❤ We also have bee's..the honey is sooo much better. 🐝
Thank you!! I'm curious now about adding sourdough starter to it. I am going to give that a try next time! We have tried the honey that dripped off the frame. It was much better than any honey we ever bought. I am hoping to be able to extract this year. It's our first year with bees. I am nervous about the mouse we found. Mike has no clue what it came off of, we just saw it on the deck after he lifted the lid and feeder. There are no signs in the hive that a mouse was in it🤔Hopefully it is still okay.
@rockymountainhomesteadwith8092 Hey sis, my husband said not to worry about the mouse. Everything is capped, so the honey should be perfectly fine to eat. He said he would definitely extract it and consume it. He's had bees for years now. I've helped sling so much honey in this lifetime. Lol! But I do love it! 🍯 And keep those videos coming. ☺️
Ive never seen honeybees like that. What an example of Gods creation. So cool!

You're welcome! I hope you enjoy it!! 😊
I think that was nice of you to do it. But you should do it in private. You probably just made someone’s day but not filming it.
