Why do the compression straps run over the side pouches? Most modern pack ( last 15yrs or so) do not do this. They will have a slit for the strap to run next to the bag or designed the compression straps so that they do not cover the same area as the side pouches. It restricts how you use the pouches.
Few things: Make the belt tensioning system on the new team elk belt available on the padded hip belt so it can be run on the f1, make the padded shoulder and hip belts standard on the f1- the standard belts are miserable on anything over 50lbs imo- people don't buy a frame pack for day pack loads, make a beefer clip to connect the sternum straps to the shoulder straps- the nylon webbing like to bunch up resulting the the black clips slipping of the shoulder strap with a load-super annoying. Thanks -Kudos on the new lid, while I used the old one and appreciated its versatility it never sat on/attatched to anything in a neat or organized way- always looked like an afterthought Including on the Blue widow JP9 that I got it with circa 2012. Thanks
