I was a little girl in the 70s, going to the roller rink on Saturday afternoons, and this song is SPOT-ON. The groove is amazing. I remember hearing music just like this--music that made you feel great and wanna dance. They ladies rollerskating in the video look like they walked right out of my childhood memories. Their 70s look and the way they skate is impeccable. What a wonderful tribute to a decade with the best dance music, hands down. Looking forward to your next reaction to this collaboration. Cheers!

This is a clear collaboration between Anderson Paak and Bruno Mars. Bruno is not the only one here. Anderson Paak is a virtuoso talent that is so underrated. With Bootsy Collins cosigning their efforts and giving them the dispensation of their name, that collab is gone from the stratosphere.

"Shooter" is pretty outside their usual wheelhouse for how classic hip-hop it sounds, but still good. If you're unfamiliar with his singing, I would recommend checking out his album Ventura. Ventura is much more of an R&B album than some of his other projects, but he usually does a mix between hip hop and R&B across any individual album of his. Dude is a very gifted singer, especially within a R&B or funk track.

I think you should give more credit to the whole group of "Silk Sonic". it's not just Bruno.... This is a very original take on a late 70's era song which WE NEED NOW. it has musicality, it has mucisianship (appreciated) and it is friendly, familiar, fun and catchy.
