The vanilla bard is actually really good too. They get up to +3 luck and their song covers the entire map. The luck bonus alone is insane when it comes to your to hit and damage rolls. It also reduces damage taken by spells rather substantially.
@JunJunKit90 The standard bard song will work even if they go to a different area from what I have seen. No range limt. Many choose to keep it over the HLA song for this reason. The songs also stack provided they are from different bard classes. So it will make your party stronger in terms of buffs and you get tons of wands and items to boot. I do like the pickpocket and lore as well. Very neat and fun to have, especially if you don't want to potion stack as much.
Just happened upon this video and I'm loving the content so far. I'd love to see these in longer form versions! Being able to get more info on the steps you take and the details of what went well/wrong would be really cool. Keep up the great work!
I feel like a party of one of each Bard flavour might have an easier time, almost. I usually play solo or duo and the faster levelling (up to 161kxp) really helps.

It was a little hard to follow in the latter half with all the deaths, mainly because when someone died I didn't know which roles you were missing. It might make it easier in challenge run vids like this if stuff like "down a skald, the party decided to push on anyways" or whatever, giving us a better idea of the stakes/choices. Very minor criticism of a great vid! Subscribing and curious to see what else you come up with!

Rogues prefer to keep their hoods up. For real though, rogue classes (thieves and bards) are not able to wear helmets in the BG series
