- Tom Hanks talks everything from Pinocchio, his love of 2001, to whether he'd ever do a Marvel, Star Trek, or Star Wars movie! Plus, will we ever get a sequel to Forrest Gump?

What an incredible icon of the industry, yet so down to earth guy.

And somehow for the first time in history there is no one replacing these legends as they get older. Really really concerned for almost all art moving forward.
What an incredible pedo as well...
What a lovely conversation! Tom Hanks is such a charming and super smart guy!
As someone who has a deep appreciation for movies and loves to learn everything I can about behind the scenes, I adore interviews with Tom Hanks. I don't know how he does it, but I feel like I never hear the same story twice and I'm always hanging on every word, feeling thoroughly entertained. Thank you. ❤
AH, More current than the Sixty Minutes Australia that REPLAYED from years ago!
I wonder if they brought this interview out since Tom moved his family TO Australia during the Covert Plandemic??
I'd like to see Tom, and Ron Howard produce a story and film about the MAN WHO INVENTED THE KEYBOARD..and make it very interesting.
Jim Varney always said he "never idolized actors", but if he did, Tom would be at the top of it! EXCELLENT INTERVIEW; Tom's a "real human " with "realistic goals" during times when others' main goals were/and are/ to become famous stars, rich and put themselves on a pedestal, don't you think?
We hope that SOMEDAY Tom Hanks can "play a major part" in helping the world establish a DAY in memorial to the "Man who invented the typewriter keyboard!" ALL of us would be at such a loss without that invention, no matter WHAT we're typing on! The day they showed to me that Selectric with erasable access, most of us DID put that old typewriter into a storage closet, remember ? Many of us who awakened in the middle of the night or after a vivid dream, ran for that old Smith Corona hoping we wouldn't wake others up by typing; Like to see tom in a film with Keanu Reeves (as viewer above also suggested) create a story ABOUT this man and his contribution to the world! I suggest it be titled " Typing Through Time!"
And the NAME you can Google now, Tom!

tom hanks has a sincerely infectious passion for and interest in what he does
Could I just say - this interview was exquisite. And probably why Tom is such a highly awarded accolade actor today.

I watched this last night. Thank you Josh for having Tom Hanks on your show. It was wonderful. Amazing actor and gifted.
Well never thought I would ever hear Tom Hanks talking about PAL to NTSC WHO episodes being broadcast.
This is a very rich episode. Love Tom Hanks, What a very funny person. He would be a great guest to have over. Huge well of experiences. Thanks for bringing up mannerisms. Richard Gere is a great expample of always being Richard Gere even in a British theme, and with no accent. :{

We love Tom Hanks!
So much for a wonderful video today. Great interview.
Great interview, relaxed and positive, enjoyed it
Great interview!
Thank you for this, wonderful and informative interview :)
What a wonderful interview.
Respect and admiration Tom Hanks !!!
What a great interview, wow.
Thank you for such a wonderful thrilling discussion❤
I would spend an entire weekend just talking movies with Tom Hanks while drinking coffee.
When they call Tom and ask if he wants to be in a movie about... "YES, YES, OF COURSE! WHEN DO WE START!" He has worked on so much, and with so many excellent artists, he seems to be in the back of everyone's mind for something. What a blessed, lucky, talented man. The REASON he has so many fantastic movies is BECAUSE he took as many as he could handle for years.

I came across an interview with Josh Horowitz and Tom Hanks
while looking for Austin
Butler! It was a very
Entertaining interview while I found where Austin Butler would be
Later on! They were
Awesome, each considerate of each other
and really enjoyed the
interview! I did too!🎉😅
Fantastic conversation ❤️😄
Glad you enjoyed it!
This is hysterical!
Just rewatched 2001, still amazing movie. Not good to watch on phone 📱 but on big screen 📺 breathtaking
I havent heard anyone talk about his time on family ties yet because those were his early days he fresh off the block a new kid and he was and still is a genius
I just watched a clip from that episode. What a riveting, albeit frightening performance! I've never seen Tom Hanks play an angry, defeated, flawed person (that wasn't played for laughs) before. He can play dramatic roles, but he's never leaned so close into "bad guy" territory, at least I don't think. Hanks is one of the all-time greats in the field of performing arts.
I love Tom hanks.
If I was conducting this interview - I would have fallen off my chair. His mindset is so fast, I can't
even keep up with him.
This is great in multiple ways, but mostly because I miss when Hanks would go on Letterman and banter, (and not always in a "friendly" way, but in an entertaining and thought-provoking way)
Josh Horowitz and Tom Hanks
what is your camera? I love the resolution!
wow, would love to chat to Tom all things ww2 and all that hes done in his war films Legend, all the best from josh UK
When you listen to Hanks, you know why he is so successful: His mind is just brilliant.
I loved great moments with Mr. Lincoln
Siempre guapo tom
wow
Did he mention why he fled, I mean moved to Greece a few years back?
Wow, this is amazing. Tom Hanks is probably one of the most famous people of all time. A lot of movies are completely fantastic. He's really pretty great.
You have get Tom to do a Movie/ Series about MACV-SOG the secret war in Vietnam
Check out the books Whiskey, Tango Foxtrot by Lynn Black and Across the Fence by John Stryker Meyer
Interesting fact: Tom Hanks us distantly related to Abraham Lincoln. Abe's mothers maiden name is Hanks.

It has been said that there will never be another Bob Hope and it must also be said that there will never be another Tom Hanks. The glory is neither of them realize it

Well if you don't know that the TARDIS is BLUE, it's not a good start for approaching Dr Who 🙄
Is tom hanks austic cute
Wait... Not even a mention of Sarah Ashcroft??? #coverup
I find it interesting that EVERY LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY ON THE PLANET is letting Tom walk around free to live his life and work. Apparently Ashcroft and her tinfoil hat wearing cult are peddling bullshit.
japedo
I can't believe u have this man that had to flee the country because of his nasty behavior.
Uh Joan. WHERE do Tom and Rita live and work?
Why do you say happy, confused, and sad?? Why do you make me confused and break my heart? Still, never meet me.
This is great, yet they somehow managed to ruin Pinocchio...starting with screwing up the ending, thus, destroying the whole point of the story...it SHOULD have been a great film, with Tom Hanks as Geppetto ??? How did they goof it up?
Ah, by using some actors they got cheaply , who influenced some of the producers?????????????????
