Part of Suga’s disdain for pill-popping is that he actually needed them for pain management after his shoulder was crushed in a car accident. (he has no beef with legal prescriptions) He tried to hide the injury at first for fear of being let go from the company (at that time, many kpop companies did not hold onto “damaged goods” and tossed them aside for something better). His company was horrified when they found out and immediately took him to the hospital for help. But at that point, serious damage had set in. And they were launching the group and all its promotions and tours. Suga decided to endure pain through various modes of pain management for seven or eight years (doing aaaaaall that choreography) but he really just needed surgery. He finally did the surgery during lockdown when he was forced to slow down. He does look down on rappers who pop pills just to do music and then don’t even have the skills to pull it off. Especially the ones who have come after him…

This was Suga of BTS. I was not a fan of Rap until BTS. My daughter took me to Agust D's solo concert in Chicago (May 2023). First, I never thought I would attend a rap concert and second, I never thought I would like it. But, his show was incredible! Not only can Suga rap, but he can sing as well. It was an experience I will never forget!!!!
I totally agree. I also went to the Chicago concert, only difference is I took my daughters. They had been long time fans of Big Bang, kinda hard to let go but they love BTS.
I was in Chicago, too, at the Saturday show 😁 I'm the one who is trying to drag my own kids into the fandom, though. My eldest came to see the Yet to Come movie just as an "OK, Mom, we'll spend time together" thing, and when I casually mentioned the D-Day movie was coming to theaters and if she wanted to go, she jumped on board immediately. She's now started sending me RUclips clips to watch and other things that tell me she's researching BTS on her own time...everything is proceeding according to plan 😏😉😂

Suga is the main producer, songwriter, rapper. He came in as a producer but mr Bang wanted him to be in the group, so he had to learn to dance, both Rm and Suga was underground rappers
From the members he produces the most but BTS works with a big (writer and) producer team: first only in-house producer but with success also a lot of outsiders. Min Yoongi is one of the main songwriters of BTS and his (former) designed poisiton was Lead Rapper which is slightly lower than Namjoon's main rapper. Not that that matter much anymore. While I love them 🎉all. RM is the main rapper and has written more songs than Suga. The whole rap line has obviously written a lot. While Suga has produced more songs than anyone else. They all are talented.
@@azaleewhite8792All three rappers write and produce, though RM is known more for lyrics, and Suga more for Producing, and Jhope can do both and does. Plus we all know that for almost every song, all the rappers write their own rap parts, no matter who wrote the lyrics of the song. And at this point won't it be more accurate to say that they are all the main rappers. They are just the rapline. There may be these titles that were given to them before, but today all three rap on like every track. And usually they are just know as the three rappers. To say main or lead at this point is pretty much moot, all you have to do is simply look at their music. Same thing for the vocal line as well really, at this point they are all just vocalist. The only one that may still fit that role is Jk, because of just how much he sings in the songs, including ad libs, etc.... Why do you think when BTS are introduced to people, it is that there are 7 members, 3 rappers, and 4 vocalists. Because there are and they all are main rappers and/ or vocalists at this point. Not to mention that the rapline sings sometimes, especially Jhope. I mean I am just saying, why are we still trying to describe they with titles that were given to them so long ago. When we all know that they have all grown and changed, and evolved over time.
I find it appropriate that Suga brought a gun to a knife fight. It is metaphorical of his talent (and BTS' talent) in the industry. Most people just are not working with the kind of skills and genius they have. Other artists are just outgunned.
I'm not sure how much you know about Min YoonGi aka Suga/AugstD....but as you liked his MV then the following info might be of interest to you. Suga/Agust D began writing music lyrics and working with MIDI at age 11 and held a part-time job composing and arranging music at a recording studio at age 16. Active under the name "Gloss" (wordplay on his name YoonGi, which means "to shine") as an underground rapper in his hometown Daegu, He originally entered Big Hit Entertainment as a producer at age 17 and became the second member to join BTS..... At BTS debut in 2013 he was 20 y.o.... he is one of BTSs main producers/songwriters/composers and has over 150 song copyrights.... he also produces for other artists and has won awards for his work.... he is one of the fastest rappers in South Korea. Suga (SHU-GA.... from Shooting Guard - the position he played in basketball) ...... AgustD = SUGA + DT (Daegu Town - his hometown) Spelt Backwards Between his commitments as a member of BTS, Suga/Agust D took advantage of time on the plane and in hotel rooms after concerts to continuously produce, write and compose music. In an interview for Grazia Korea, Suga/Agust D expressed a desire to release the music he wanted to do without having to consider popular appeal or music ranking. He intended to release his music for free in the form of a mixtape to avoid such considerations, commenting that an album "has a feeling of being trapped in some sort of framework" due to the need for company involvement in promotion and advertising. He has released 2 mixtapes - and last year released his first official album (of which he continues to maintain full creative control) Developing Agust D musically on the base of hip hop, much of Agust D's inspiration for the lyrics came from his own stories of dream, youth, and reality. In order to differentiate his work from that of his work as Suga, he developed the alter ego "Agust D". He is best known for his honest hardhitting lyrics. What a great comment. It’s ARMYs like you that help keep this fandom organized. Please keep making great comments & share your well organized knowledge with others. 💜
I'm a hip-hophead who got into BTS about a year ago and they completely blew me away. Suga aka Agust D and RM were both underground rappers before joining BTS and it shows. BTS' versatility is insane both in their group and solo songs you'd never think they all belong in the same group. Each rapper has a completely different style and their songs generally have very powerful poetic lyrics and deep meanings so it;s recommended you watch explanation videos after the songs because there are many references you wouldn't get on your own. Suga reminds me so much of a younger Eminem in terms of life story, raw lyrics, and delivery. Continue exploring BTS and enjoy the journey these guys never disappoint 💜
If you like RM too, like me, have you heard his song "Do You" from his earlier days? This is the video with English subtitles. ruclips.net/video/rN0_2jyOgzg/видео.htmlsi=MVCeyeQsARVVw0ka
@LPnerd dnt forget the bowl to the head during Sowoozoo. That actually looked like it hurt during rehearsals then Jin gave JK a pretty good thump in the live. 🤦♀️🤣 fkn Tom & Jerry vibes
Your what at the end had me laughing. BTS and their music is different. There is meaning and significance. And if you don’t have all the info it is confusing. SUGA is a story teller. It all means something. It’s a journey.
After you watch the guides (Taylor's & Celeste's), you'll learn exactly why they had to come out swingin'. They didn't get to this level by the easy road. Over a decade of their blood, sweat, & tears in this journey. BTW, we all love watching new fans react to the guide videos. Yes they're longer than an MV, but we want people to know their story. The guides are a good place to start to get introduced to all 7 members & learn why they are so bonded with each other & with ARMY.
The fact he is in love with the song on the surface without really knowing the intricacies of the character Agust D and why he was created by Suga, the significance of the scar, the symbolism of South Korea as a tiger, the songs that came before this one and after, the venue it was recorded at, the influence of Masquerade kdrama, how the song has the same base line thoughout the entire song…it all just speaks to the genius that is Min Yoongi. Just as the song Seesaw, while not a rap, has a song structure of 4:5:6:5:4 etc through the entire song, creating the motion of an actual seesaw
J-Hope actually left BTS because of the haters. He was afraid that he was holding the other members back. However, he came back after a few weeks. Suga and RM got hate from the Hip Hop underground saying they sold out. The K-pop fans said RM was ugly (he is not) did not meet the K-pop idol standards. It was to the point that RM was going to quit like J-Hope, but his father talked him out of it. Told him he did not want to live with regret. They have had multiple death threats. I believe the threats were aimed RM and Jimin. They actually cancelled a US concert in early days because of the threats Jimin received. Big Hits was afraid for the members safety as well as ARMY. This is just a fraction of the hate they received. Protest when they won awards because they were from such a small company. So much more.
That's a jumble. J-Hope left pre-debut because he was unsure that this work out. RM talked him into coming back and the label to take him back, too. RM also nearly ran of... pre-debut. It's a lot harder to do that once you are under contract and have debuted. They canceled one of their first concerts in New York (Red Bullett) because RM had received death threats. Big Hit Ent. was restructured - because of BTS success - into HYBE and multiple labels and sub-companies - Big Hit Music being one of them. HYBE is likely to be officially declared a conglomerate soon because of this. And if you think how they debuted BTS with ca. 100 Billion Korean Won aka. 75 Million USD debt... (you are looking for xCeleste updated Hardship vid)
@@ruthfischer7615 Yes, he left pre-debut. Did you see his first Vlive. He tried not to cry because he had no one check in. The hate comments he got while they were trying to get their big break were merciless. The K-pop teens are brutal if they don't like an idol. An example is the "Black Ocean" Some with final consequences.
@@patwalker5133 True. But you are still mixing pre-debut with post-debut. He nearly left pre-debut. The hate was post-debut. I'm well aware of the BS he suffered through. Let me point out that when antis where especially vile he did get even public help: - from one of the trainers of AHL - from Jimin who made a photo series of his body spelling Hobi's stagename. Hoseok suffered but he was not alone. The label was there, the members where there, his mother was there and the fans spoke for him.
Suga/Agust D is THE genius rapper/musician of this generation! Notice how the music stays the same throughout, but it's Agust D's rapping that controls the flow of the song! Suga/Agust D is in conflict with himself in his trilogy. Daechwita, Haegeum, and Amygdala. A good explanation channel for all BTS content is DKDKTV channel. Borahae!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜OT7
Since BTS came from a small company with small budget. They weren't given the same respect as the bigger companies in SK. Please get to know BTS and the members. You will appreciate them even more.
Fun Fact: Yoongi, Suga/AgustD actually had written the intro, chorus and first verse of this song but he didn’t have a second verse till almost to the day of shooting the MV which he produced… He was rushing to write the second verse because he couldn’t think of a fitting one but then he came up with this absolute fire of a verse and flow!🔥 Also the sword dance he did in the MV, he only learned in 3 days!👑👑
He just killed himself. He is both the king and the commoner. Agust D is the rap alter ego of Suga. Daechwita is part of a trilogy with Haegeum and Amygdala. 😘💜🫰🏻🫶🏻
Yep, Daechwita is the first part of a 3 part series. In each one, he kills a version of himself. Haeguam is the second part. Amygdala is the third and final part of this trilogy. It will hit you hard 😢
I’m 59 years old and never cared for rap due to the content most rappers in America sing about! But after discovering BTS and then RM, Suga & J Hope I can say I absolutely love them! Their lyrics and vocals are amazing! This song is one of my favorites by Suga! He has a few clapping back at the haters! When you learn more about them and what they went through to be where their at now you’ll understand why! I live in Texas and last year I was privileged to Chicago with my two sons. They took their mom to see AgustD aka Suga in Concert! My youngest went with me! He was impressed! Suga put on an amazing performance! Last week they showed his concert at the theaters! Since it was a world tour they combined different concerts into one ! Reason they last three concerts held in Korea Suga had a special guest each day! Day one JungKook Day two Jimin and Day 3 RM. So it was really cool getting to see the same performance from Chicago with added performances of the boys! You have a long way to go and a lot of amazing songs and performances to see! Each member of BTS is amazing on their own and outstanding together! Jhope said in an interview that it was fate! No truer words were spoken!
Hello, Texas girl, I am 60 and living here in Texas as well. Crazy you went to the Chicago concert with two sons, I went with my two daughters. They got me into K pop with Big Bang, not they are big BTS fans. I totally agree with your statement. I had no love for rap till BTS: Suga, J Hope and RM. OT7 but the rap line took me by surprise. Blessings
Suga (Agust D) says: if you get offended from my songs, then it was directed to you))) I understand that you were joking about "i am offended" bit Suga writes always in general direction about things that a lot of people throw at them and if someone gets offended then it reached correct address😂 One of even more "shots fired" song of his is What do you think, oh there he went off
From Suga aka AgustD. He plays the mad king and the rebel boss. Daechwita - the W is silent, pronounced Deh-chee-tah. Daechwita is the music played when the king arrives. He is the king so he says- play it loud!! First in a trilogy-after this see Haegeum and then Amygdala. 💜
Aaah my bias wrecker from day one. Genius min pd... Yoongi is such a savage.. He has always said "this song is not meant for anyone specifically, but if you feel offended... Then it's for you"💜💜💜💜
The rappers have MAJOR duality. They are the main songwriters and it's interesting that they can write beautiful songs like Spring Day but also cut you to shreds with their Cyphers and raps! Love them! 💜💜💜
I'm a 71 yr old Army & very proud of it. These young men didn't just save my life but many more around the world. Now it's time for you to check out RM doing "Joker"
This song is part of a trilogy first is Daechwita then Haegeum then Amygdala. I’d suggest you check them out first then his self titled track Agust D. RM is next I’d check out Joke and Wildflower and lastly J-Hope id check out More and Arson. BTS rap line I’d suggest Ugh, Tear and Cyphers 1-4 also Ddaeng. 💜
This is Suga also known as Agust D and Min Yoongi is his actual name. This song is part of a triology the next song is Haeguem and then Amagalyda. Thank you for the amazing reaction. They did go through rough times but can't wait to see your reaction to the guide and it will help you with choosing song selections to react to. All seven members of BTS have solo songs each members solo work is different but hope you enjoy 💜
Since you like this mv, you need to check out his debut - Agust D/Agust D. It's a diss track to all the haters, in particular a Korean rapper named B. Free who was absolutely terrible to both him and RM (the leader and other main rapper). You will also hear how Suga (Agust D) is one of the fastest rappers in the game - and has no mercy - think of it as what would angry Eminem would do if he were Korean.
Fan Fact: There is an US rapper with the same name. He was misstaken by some Army and confused. So he went out looking and found out why that other person was disliked. I think the Korean rapper got in contact with him but was told of as the US rapper thought he was in the wrong.
You sweating just watching the mv. Imagine how close I was to passing out seeing it live. The hype is insane! Crowd goes wild! After shouting Daechwita 3 times in the concert pit I got lightheaded 😆🔥
Suga did a great song-by-song album review of D-2. Regarding who he is talking about and dissing in this song, he said if you recognize yourself, he’s talking about you! (don’t worry, it’s not about folks like you and me taking prescriptions for blood pressure, etc 🤣😂). Recreational Drug use is NOT generaly seen as cool in Korea, it is highly illegal and viewed as a weakness. Any singer or celebrity caught with it will be cancelled by public opinion and will longer be in the industry.
They have even driven recently an established actor into s* because they didn't believe his innocence. But didn't Suga say that he is targeting no one specific but lays traps in his music? If you feel insulted you may have to think about why that is because Agust D/Suga does not care anymore.
This is SUGAs aka Agust D's aka Min Yoongi's solo song, he played both roles, the mad king and the peasant.. Also at 2:47 we had a short Jin and Jungkook cameo.. (they often make little cameos in each others solo MVs) I don't know if you are interested, but they usually have a behind the scenes for almost all their music video shoots.. 😉💜
Suga is the best rapper and most genius producer in Korea. I actually think now might be a good time for you to react to the Bangtan Guide by Taylor Mari. It gives you a great overview of each member so you can see what they bring to the table. I’m not exaggerating when I say these are 7 incredibly talented artists who all bring something unique to the group. I think you will be surprised at the depth of their discography.
AgustD, or Suga of BTS, is a multi-faceted rapper of BTS: rapper, producer, writer, dancer, and he composes piano and plays acoustic and electric guitar. In BTS, the rappers sometimes fade on the background due to “pop” music, which emphasizes vocals, but they’re the writers, producers, hip hop influencers of the group. That is why they are an incredible team-they all being unique and important elements.
😂😂😂 'I don't know if it's the pills I'm popping'. Too funny. Yes, he's talking about someone specific. Two of the BTS rappers were underground rappers. They got a lot of hate/mocking from their former colleagues and friends in the underground rap community when they decided to become a Kpop group
They've been around for nearly 11 years, so you have to take care to look at the date for every release. :-) BTS was literally founded with the three rappers. "Daechwita" is by Agust D AKA Suga of BTS AKA prod. SUGA AKA Min Yoongi. He's a badass. Of the three rappers, he may be the fiercest. His most recent album is last year's D-Day and there's an entire documentary on Disney+ devoted to its creation. He was the second member recruited to BTS. RM (Kim Namjoon) is the leader of BTS and its original founding member; the group was formed around him. "Do You" is one of his solo songs, from his 2015 mixtape RM. Another one is "Monster." His most recent album is 2022's Indigo. My personal favorite song from that album is "Lonely;" I love when Suga goes hard, but RM is a poet, so I tend to like his more mellow work, like "bicycle." j-hope (Jung Hoseok), whom ARMY calls Hobi, is the third member and the third rapper. He was originally added to the group as a dancer; he's a phenomenal street dancer and the group's dance leader. He learned to rap from RM and Suga. He released "MORE" and "Arson" on his album Jack in the Box in 2022 and there are also documentaries devoted to his work; j-hope in the Box on Disney+ and hope on the street on Amazon Prime Video. He collaborated with J. Cole on "On the Street" in 2023. The four singers were added after the rappers; in order: Jin, then Jungkook, then V and finally Jimin, another incredible dancer, but different from j-hope. If jazz and R&B are to your taste, I'd suggest V: "Singularity," "Stigma," "Slow Dancing," "FRI(END)S." You've already seen Jungkook, the youngest, who's a born pop star with that voice of his. They're all different and they've all released solo music WITHOUT leaving the group. The group has its identity and style; the individual members have their own too. They're free to pursue and make their own music, but they're 100% committed to the group as well. That's part of why they're unusual and interesting, even in K-pop.
He's definitely not against prescription meds, he takes some himself! I think the pill-popping line is more related to drug problems which are prevalent in the underground hip hop scene he comes from, though I'm not aware of it being aimed at a specific person. He had multiple friends who got into drugs and ended up making very bad choices, one ended up in prison, the other did a bunch of violent crimes and got himself killed. So I guess you could say it's a personal issue for him.
They've been putting out Cyphers calling out their haters since their debut, actually! They've got 4 cyphers and they've got other tracks like this like Joke (RM), Do You (RM) or Agust D (SUGA/Agust D). There's also 욱 (Ugh!) from the Rap Line that talks about hatred in general and 땡 (Ddaeng). 땡 is a bit hard to get as international listeners but the song is really good!
Yoongi is very deep and philosophical, he hits hard, but with purpose. It's fascinating to come along on his journeys, basically weaving a war story of the battles he is fighting within himself and with his depression as he tries to figure out who he really is, as well as with the society that tells us who we should be.
60 yr old Army here. They were treated so badly while they were trainees. Disrespected by so many. But AgustD tells his story in music. You have to watch Haegeum and Amygdala. Agustd is aka Suga
This is Min Yoongi aka Suga of BTS aka Agust D....a freaking genious! 46 y.o. female Army and huge fun of the rap line. These guys made me love hip hop!

You need to watch The Guide to BTS by Taylor Mari, it will give you more information about BTS and it has it's own subtitles so you don't have to turn on yours. The guide will help you understand why their music is so good and why they have so many fans(Army).
🇧🇷 August D/Suga had a difficult childhood. Parents issues, no money, no support, an accident ruined his shoulder (reminding that he needs to dance on BTS), many negative critics about his attitude (rapper can't be an Idol apparently 🙄), his lyrics... So, his talking mostly about media people. After 10 years being a BTS member, he was gradually writing about friendship/ARMY/future. 😊
64 yo. Here my daughter introduced me to BTS after I had major surgery on my shoulder last year. I'm so THANKFUL on many levels! I never liked rap couldn't get it turned quick enough..... WHOAAAAA BTS - RM, SUGA and J HOPE changed that!!! I L❤VE their rap❤ as well as all of their music! Lonely dad gotta tell ya I enjoy watching you, I see you as a hardcore dude, and I'm thrilled to see you get emotional and defend BTS. Good job! I'm thinking real men like BTS!!!!
he is talking about the haters out there that talk shit about him and the other members and he is savage and does not hold nothing back and is straight forward to the haters that talk shit about them and that what the haters say about them and tells them that he does not give a shit about what the haters do because he got him and he is going to keep doing him and for the members. that is agust d aka suga aka yoongi
This is Agust D and he tells HIS story. He has two mixtapes and one official album, D-DAY. He recently went on a solo tour and you can now watch the SUGA|Agust D The Movie in cinemas now.
So, this was only one guy - Suga a.k.a. Agust D. He played both the blond evil king and the guy with the dark hair. However, 2 BTS members made cameos in this video. Jin and Jungkook are the at the beginning. Suga bumps into Jin who turns and looks at him and hits Jungkook with his fishing pole.
“They weren’t like this before!”
The BTS Cyphers: Allow us to introduce ourselves.
YES!!! CYPHERS!
yep yep
Oooo yeeeeeeee
no no it should be : the cyphers : ah excuse mee (in jimin's voice)
STRAY KIDS IS THE KING OF KPOP---
Part of Suga’s disdain for pill-popping is that he actually needed them for pain management after his shoulder was crushed in a car accident. (he has no beef with legal prescriptions)
He tried to hide the injury at first for fear of being let go from the company (at that time, many kpop companies did not hold onto “damaged goods” and tossed them aside for something better).
Especially the ones who have come after him…
Thank you for this back story. 😍👌
You nailed it, girl!
Thanks so much for this info! 🤗

AgustD = SUGA + DT (Daegu Town - his hometown) Spelt Backwards
Between his commitments as a member of BTS, Suga/Agust D took advantage of time on the plane and in hotel rooms after concerts to continuously produce, write and compose music.
He has released 2 mixtapes - and last year released his first official album (of which he continues to maintain full creative control)
Developing Agust D musically on the base of hip hop, much of Agust D's inspiration for the lyrics came from his own stories of dream, youth, and reality. In order to differentiate his work from that of his work as Suga, he developed the alter ego "Agust D". He is best known for his honest hardhitting lyrics.
Bookish Theories RUclips channel has really good explanations to BTS videos as there is a lot of cultural references and depth to this song that really will blow your mind
This is the first song in a trilogy..... He is a master storyteller.... a fellow army best explained the trilogy as -
Daechwita... ridding himself of the need to prove his worth to others
Haegeum... ridding himself of the confines of modern society
Amygdala... he investigates the inner demons and trauma that started his confinement in the first place.
Suga/AgustD wrote, composed and produced the songs, he conceptualised the MVs and had creative control (working as usual with Director Lumpens (Choi YongSeok) who does most BTS MVs)
Fun facts -
The gun used was a Colt M 1860 ARMY
Daechwita is Traditional Joseon Korean Royal Parade/Military Music - notifying all that the king is here
Yoongi(Suga) is a member of the clan of the very last empress of Korea.
Daejanggeum Park is where the MV was filmed.... It is a giant film set that doubles as a public historical park where people can come to "experience" old times.
Hope you have a great day💜💜Sending Greetings from Australia
Best intrepretation video from Korean cultural perspective is by dkdktv.
💜
Wow. Bravo. Excellent info for the dad! Very eloquent.
Thank you for your effort. Well done! Luv yu! 😘😍
Well said! 👌👏👏
If you like RM too, like me, have you heard his song "Do You" from his earlier days? This is the video with English subtitles. ruclips.net/video/rN0_2jyOgzg/видео.htmlsi=MVCeyeQsARVVw0ka
só pra complementar... avisar ao pai que, nesse MV, os dois personagens são a mesma pessoa. Suga/Agust-D.
JK And Jin in the beginning of the video. BTS supports BTS memebers
😂Jin with the fishing pole! 💜
They were just supposed to be a subtle feat but ended up fighting in the back. It's so them 🤦♀️🤣
I had to pause and rewind that a couple times, I couldn't believe it, too funny.
@LPnerd dnt forget the bowl to the head during Sowoozoo. That actually looked like it hurt during rehearsals then Jin gave JK a pretty good thump in the live. 🤦♀️🤣 fkn Tom & Jerry vibes
Also he insisted on 6 "gang members" to be w/him in this & Haegeum cuz it's always 7
You have to see them come out on stage the swagger man they have it in bucket loads.
So excited to see in 2025. I did get to see Suga/Agust D concert, amazing. Best concert ever!
This is part of a trilogy With Haegan and Amadyal. In each video he is killing off parts of his persona . Suga Agustd Suga and D town for his town.
Haegeum and Amygdala.
@@patwalker5133
True.
But you are still mixing pre-debut with post-debut.
He nearly left pre-debut.
The hate was post-debut.
I'm well aware of the BS he suffered through.
Let me point out that when antis where especially vile he did get even public help:
- from one of the trainers of AHL
- from Jimin who made a photo series of his body spelling Hobi's stagename.
Hoseok suffered but he was not alone. The label was there, the members where there, his mother was there and the fans spoke for him.
SUGA aka AgustD! Just watched his concert movie last weekend and I'm still hyped!
I sure was I was in the cinema singing and shouting rap line's.
Same! The energy in the theater during this song was 🔥🔥🔥.
That genius you just saw is Suga aka Agust D aka Min Yoongi.
Since BTS came from a small company with small budget. They weren't given the same respect as the bigger companies in SK. Please get to know BTS and the members. You will appreciate them even more.
52 year old here...been an ARMY since 2014..the discography is very diverse and vast.
AGUST D is one dude. He played the king and the rebel in the MV.
Fun Fact: Yoongi, Suga/AgustD actually had written the intro, chorus and first verse of this song but he didn’t have a second verse till almost to the day of shooting the MV which he produced…
He was rushing to write the second verse because he couldn’t think of a fitting one but then he came up with this absolute fire of a verse and flow!🔥
Also the sword dance he did in the MV, he only learned in 3 days!👑👑
as a 57 yr old Army, and i love Em!!! Agust D talking to himself. Watch the tribology it will explain everything. He is the Korean Em for real!
Blessings
Yes here we go!!!!!
This is Just the start my guy.
You will be blown away 🤯🤯🤯💜💜💜🫶🫶🫶
This is a trilogy
1 Deachwitta
2 Heageum
3 Amygdala
2:47 jin and jungkook 😂😂
They extra AF! 😂
😂Jin with the fishing pole!💜
Tom and Jerry!!! lol
@@lavenderbluemama953
Thanks to Yoongi vision.
@@adeleneliu1179 Absolutely! 💜
I really think you should round out the Daechwita trilogy with Haegeum and Amygdala. :)
Thank you for this! Ima check out these asap
Suga (Agust D) says: if you get offended from my songs, then it was directed to you)))
I understand that you were joking about "i am offended" bit Suga writes always in general direction about things that a lot of people throw at them and if someone gets offended then it reached correct address😂
One of even more "shots fired" song of his is What do you think, oh there he went off
It's one person in MV! One rapper Agust D. Or Suga (his name in BTS). He plays two characters in MV: the king and the rebel. 😊
Girl, that is MY list and My order :) Maybe, just we are Armys 💜 Much love.
Huh? Agust D and J-Hope
I CANNOT wait for you to watch the raplines Cyphers 1-4. 💜
Love when people try music from another culture and find out it suits them… especially true when the culture is Korean Kpop and the artist is BTS
Yoongi aka suga aka agust D said if you feel offended by this song it’s on you 🤣🤣
This is Suga also known as Agust D and Min Yoongi is his actual name.
Fan Fact:
There is an US rapper with the same name.
This song is a BANGER and his concert was wild!! This song in concert is another level!
yes it was! Saw in Chicago, amazing!
Lesson Learned: Don't bring a sword to a gun fight.
This is SUGAs aka Agust D's aka Min Yoongi's solo song, he played both roles, the mad king and the peasant..
Also at 2:47 we had a short Jin and Jungkook cameo.. (they often make little cameos in each others solo MVs)
I don't know if you are interested, but they usually have a behind the scenes for almost all their music video shoots.. 😉💜
Can't wait for your reaction to the cyphers 😂 you will love it! Reacting to the cypher medley is a must 💜
Yeah he's talking about those Rappers who are pill popping.
Agustd said he wasn't talking about anyone personally, "but if u felt offended, then his talking to you"
Suga of BTS. Goes by AgustD on his solo music. Real name is Min, Yoon-gi
Oh my God!!😂 you're starting to be my favorite BTS reactor!!!
Thank you for the love :) It has been a pleasure experiencing all these with you all!!
Agree

100% yeah 😼😂😂💜
I need the reaction to the whole trilogy, Amygdala Haegeum and Daechwita 🫶🏼
My personal favorite song from that album is "Lonely;" I love when Suga goes hard, but RM is a poet, so I tend to like his more mellow work, like "bicycle."
j-hope (Jung Hoseok), whom ARMY calls Hobi, is the third member and the third rapper.
He never call anyone out by name.......he let their "fans" do that part.
땡 is a bit hard to get as international listeners but the song is really good!
he is taking about the haters but his best friend who choose a bad path and he had to walk away..that's the pill popper part
This is the BEGGINNING of the trilogy!! You have NOW BEEN YOONGIFIED!!! ENJOYYYYYY OT7!!!
That part when Jungkook and Jin fight is so funny! Only them could add that hilarious note to Yoongi’s videos😂😂😂😂
lmao thats agust d for you!! there’s a difference between suga and agust d and daechwita perfectly encapsulates it
SUGA is great !!! Big artist, We love SUGA
Yoongi is very deep and philosophical, he hits hard, but with purpose. It's fascinating to come along on his journeys, basically weaving a war story of the battles he is fighting within himself and with his depression as he tries to figure out who he really is, as well as with the society that tells us who we should be.
BTS orignally a HIP HOP group started with 3 rapper. RM, SUGA(Agust D) and JHOPE.
Suga is very raw and straightforward he tell it like it is
Omg this live is so fkn lit even the theaters were loud af.
Simple intro
Real name - min yoongi
Stage name in bts - suga
Stage name solo - Agust-D (suga backword and dt for daegu town)
Producer, lyricist, rapper
You need to watch The Guide to BTS by Taylor Mari, it will give you more information about BTS and it has it's own subtitles so you don't have to turn on yours. The guide will help you understand why their music is so good and why they have so many fans(Army).
Yes please!
Min Yoongi/Suga/Agust D is the king of swag and clapping back at their haters
You really want to get a feel for the "group rappers" watch their live performances of the cyphers. Mind blowing.
"My body was not ready for THIS!" said every ARMY ever before every comeback :P
I don't know if it's the pills I'm popping or what..Legit had me laughing out loud!
lol happy your enjoying the channel :)
Suga is the rapper in this song. He plays both characters in the music video. He goes by Agust D for his solo work.
Yes yes! Outro: Tear, live version! So good!!
He is actually speaking to himself.
Great energy, bro. Earned my sub. Suga/August D is a beast. His solo concert was amazing.
The whole song plus the ending is telling everybody that underestimates him: "Don't bring a sword to a gun fight."
Leave your reactions! So fun. The rappers are my favorites. You are in for an awesome ride.
Ooops! Love Not LEAve!
Thank you so much! It has been a pleasure finding all these for the first time and meeting the BTS Army
I think if you watched the documentary you would understand where Suga is coming from. He is amazing and overcame so much.
SUGAAAA ❤❤❤❤ Yoongi hits rap like none other. Literally his flow is SOOO sick. Love ALL YOUR VIDEOS. LOL I LOVE YOUR REACTIONS HAHAHHA
The king is a representation of another version of himself.
he is talking about the haters out there that talk shit about him and the other members and he is savage and does not hold nothing back and is straight forward to the haters that talk shit about them and that what the haters say about them and tells them that he does not give a shit about what the haters do because he got him and he is going to keep doing him and for the members. that is agust d aka suga aka yoongi
Min Yoongi, aka Suga, aka AgustD is defendant of Korean royalty 😌 This is his solo work.
78 here, and I agree ! I’m lucky and don’t need medication, but BTS is a real shot in the arm!
0:02 and I’m the Holy Spirit
One of the best reaction, he be killing the underground haters, please you gonna love Agust D song Agust D 51 y Army right here
SUGA IS BOTH KING AND PEASANT !
This is Agust D and he tells HIS story. He has two mixtapes and one official album, D-DAY. He recently went on a solo tour and you can now watch the SUGA|Agust D The Movie in cinemas now.
I’m a 70 year old granny, just love BTS both as a group and as individuals with their own style of music. Love the rap
KING AGUST D 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
In the shot with the saber, Yoongi's hand was to be one tailored to an artisan and to do some shots where he was ashamed to drink whiskey.
It is Suga, He phenomenal. (Agust D, Suga, & Yoongi are the same person. Just different sides, as we all have different sides to who we are.)
