Gods been working on my lust of the flesh and of the eyes, as well as lasciviousness, something that's worked the best is when I slip into watching those bad videos I pray, I talk to the Father and Jesus and I say affirmations such as: I give you my lust, arousal, thoughts, desire, pleasure. Etc. it's been working wonders and I've made so much progress, the dead branch is almost shrunken up fully and my desire and pleasure towards sexual things has dwindled almost completely too, now the temptation is much less and so much easier to fight knowing I'm not as interested in it, and don't get as much pleasure out of it. I started practicing this before I was even Christian. I never liked the violent music or scary movies. But then like 3 years ago, while working in a local coffee shop, I realized that I couldn't listen to Rihanna anymore. We loved bumping that Desperado song and I really got to thinking about it and something in me was just like, "hmm nah I can't listen to thus anymore" so I cut it out. Now that I've been a Believer I'm even more narrow with it. Back in August, I went on a secular cleanse and I felt convicted for watching this dude named Sloan on here. He is a sweet guy who is also a Believer and his videos are basically about exposing the darkness celebrities participate in/Hollywood. Which I think is awesome because it helps people to not put these people on a pedestal. But I just felt convicted about watching them because it was just filling my mind, all these terrible things. And I wanted to focus more on God. I don't struggle with lust so for anyone watching, it's not just about lust/qorn!

You are so right! Tv disgusts me. I only like shows like little house on the prairie , Columbia, highway to heaven kind of shows. From way back when tv wasn’t so corrupt like today. Even the news casters wear slutty dresses.

Gods been working on my lust of the flesh and of the eyes, as well as lasciviousness, something that's worked the best is when I slip into watching those bad videos I pray, I talk to the Father and Jesus and I say affirmations such as: I give you my lust, arousal, thoughts, desire, pleasure. Etc. it's been working wonders and I've made so much progress, the dead branch is almost shrunken up fully and my desire and pleasure towards sexual things has dwindled almost completely too, now the temptation is much less and so much easier to fight knowing I'm not as interested in it, and don't get as much pleasure out of it. I started practicing this before I was even Christian. I never liked the violent music or scary movies. But then like 3 years ago, while working in a local coffee shop, I realized that I couldn't listen to Rihanna anymore. We loved bumping that Desperado song and I really got to thinking about it and something in me was just like, "hmm nah I can't listen to thus anymore" so I cut it out. Now that I've been a Believer I'm even more narrow with it. Back in August, I went on a secular cleanse and I felt convicted for watching this dude named Sloan on here. He is a sweet guy who is also a Believer and his videos are basically about exposing the darkness celebrities participate in/Hollywood. Which I think is awesome because it helps people to not put these people on a pedestal. But I just felt convicted about watching them because it was just filling my mind, all these terrible things. And I wanted to focus more on God. I don't struggle with lust so for anyone watching, it's not just about lust/qorn!
