My brother is a Taurus sun, Sagittarius moon. My sister-in-law is a Sagittarius sun, Taurus moon. When we were looking at their charts and found this out, they immediately sang a made up tune in unison with the same words and same notes. It was so funny

I'm close to your Sister-n-law. Sagittarius Sun (Sun/Saturn @ 28° 10th) and my Moon is 28° Aries which puts me on the Cusp and I have Taurus Moon influence. It really factors in too.
I expect she's Firery but stable and efficient in her emotions, her thought capacity is influenced by Mercury placement
My Mercury is in Sagittarius, Jupiter expands, I am open minded and have a zest for knowledge + understanding.

Being a Capricorn sun, Pisces moon and rising, I definitely feel the push on pull on a regular basis, sometimes daily. It's prompted to really focus on the inner work of staying balanced as well as self-acceptance. I used to think I had to be only this or only that, and know I embrace I'm this, that and the other and I love it! It's not easy!

For me the most difficult part of astrology is understanding the transists and aspects , which of them should I take into account in order to plan or avoid certain things...there's so many that at the end I don't know which of them has the bigger influence on a specific day xx
It's a huge area of study in astrology! I do teach an online course about learning your transits that helps you understand the basics and essentials... I also recommend Robert Hand's book "planets in transit."

Merci Molly ! This is so true, I could say I'm a "perfect" example of how you do not want to single yourself out with one sign, even you Sun... as I am a Gem Sun, Cancer Moon and Sag/Cap cusp rising... People will first see me as a Sag/Gem in some situations, then more Cap/Gem in others and once they get to know me I'm more Cancer... needless to say it can be complicated but I'm sure most people are the same.
I see more and more people who are not even that much into astrology who are starting to learn this, that you have to at least take your Moon sign into account.

Thank you Molly! I just realized that in my family, I’m the water sign moon (Pisces) and between my husband and my daughters, we have one in each element! I love that! ✨💜✨
My whole family is concentrated energies. My son has Sun, Moon Rising and Mercury in Taurus. My Daughter has Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, South Node and MC in Leo, my other daughter has Rising and Moon in Cancer but then her Libra Sun, Venus and Mars are in her 4th house. I have my Moon Mars rising and Jupiter in Gemini then I have my Sun Saturn conjunction in Leo in the 3rd house (plus my Mercury is in Virgo in the 4th giving it another moon Mercury feel similar to my moon in Gemini in 12th) it’s really cool how it all layers up like that and that it’s a family pattern in our case. We really came to learn about the nature of these placements in a very focused way.

Makes perfect sense. ♉ sun ♍ moon and ♒ rising. I like to help people and i like to create. I present myself awkwardly and when i am given a compliment i tend to be modest about it. When assessing a situation i tend to sit back and observe until i understand before i step in to participate.
My daughter is a ♓ sun and moon. ♌ rising. She is that water sign through and through. She also shows the leo rising because she wants everyone to look at her lol. She wears this crazy eclectic androgynous mix of clothes that ALWAYS makes a statement lol.

Now I see why I have these mixed energies which I personally have learnt to appreciate and love over time but I can see why so many people miss me or just don't get me...they just cannot clearly figure me out since there is a part of me that loves to communicate, be open and friendly but another part is very private and it doesn't allow intrusions, while another part is just plain comfortable, rooted and practical...just with these three major signs on their own it can be very complex, but then when we get into squares, oppositions, stellium, houses and their meanings, etc...it becomes even more elaborated and complex, very interesting discovery though, I like your clarity, thank you! TY⭐ I had not heard about Moon signs indicated how we live, and our needs in habitating with other people.
My husband has Capricorn rising & a Capricorn moon but his sun is Gemini. It has always made me crazy reading the Gemini description. He does not like to read, or talk, or socialize. He's a hermit who likes to work. He does have a mischievous sense of humor though. Thanks for helping me understand him better Molly!
Very interesting, and I find it 100% accurate. I am an Aries Sun (in 10th house with stelium of 4 planets), Moon in Sag and Cancer Ascendant. When people meet me they see a quiet mothering person they think they can walk on... until they try! At a previous company, our team was only women and our boss was obsessed with Disney, so she identified what our Disney princess based on the team feedback. I was hands down Snow White, but I personally see myself as Merida (firery adventurous redhead from Brave). LOL difference between Ascendant and Sun signs for sure.

Thank you so much, Molly. I've got the ascendant and the moon at the cusp of 2 signs, libra/scorpio, and Gemini/Cancer. I often perceive myself as a typical libran (+sun in the 7th...) but the feedback from others is more of the scorpian scretive with a stinger. And my private moon area is also strange, as it shifts from closed off, only letting a few people into the crab-shell to yay, let's act like a little child and be playful all day, lol.
Thanks Molly I wondered why I was more reserved on first letting someone new into my life. Not always but sometimes I get cold feet as to keep to myself where my privacy feels safer or better. It's because I am a Pisces ascendant with a Sagi sun in the 10th house though and a Scorpio moon. Have been understanding this in me lately. Much like my Pisces sun mum who listened and held back. I feel I am quite complicated. Times when I felt I was being transparent and the heartily honest Sagi my Pisces comes out and wants to pull back and the Scorpio gets suspicious and skeptical and confuses it all. Much work to be done. Like 3 people in one, crazy really. Thanks Molly. Loving your wisdoms.

Hi Molly! 💓 While listening to this I was wondering if you could do a video on balancing the shadow and beneficial aspects of each astrological sign? When I got back into astrology a few years ago one thing that helped me so much in my growth is that I realized that the shadow traits of Virgo were literally killing me and my relationships. The things I saw as assets, which can totally be, we’re actually proving to be defects. Finding that balance can be a challenge, especially having Sun, Moon, Mercury, Mars all in Virgo. The first 3 in the 2nd house to boot!
I think a video going over the traits of each sign could be really beneficial to people. I’ve been getting into solar returns and progressions so this would help me in those areas as well, get a better understanding of all the signs and finding that balance. Thanks so much!!
Born during a new moon in early Aries in 4th house, with a 29 Scorpio rising sign and a yod from Sun to Pluto and Neptune. mixed bag! Thank you Molly, i never looked that much to my rising sign.

I have Sun in Virgo, Moon in Capricorn and Libra Rising. Although it's different signs, notice that my Sun and Moon are Earth signs, and my Moon and Ascendant have the Cardinal mode in common.
I liken my Big 3 to the Swan. My Ascendant in Libra sextiles my Venus in Leo, and people think I'm this well put-together, breezy, life is smooth person, and then get shocked to see the amount of work I put in to most areas of my life. Virgo and Capricorn: perfectionist hardworker with attention to detail (Virgo) that is meant to last(Capricorn) is my brand. My Virgo Sun is in the 12th and Capricorn in the 4th, so those hardworking parts of me are in very private spaces. So alot of people don't get to experience me in my private spaces.
Much like the swan that is revered for its beauty, grace and elegance ABOVE WATER (what people see), the swan's feet BELOW the water (what people don't see) is working so hard, so meticulously

Don't know if you will reply, but I've wondered and wondered if you are willing to share, what is your take on premature babies? I was born 10 weeks early. I was supposed to be a Capricorn, but instead I'm a Libra cusp Scorpio. Sun in 10th house, flanked by Saturn in 10th house on one side and Neptune in 9th house on the other in a stellium in Libra. Capricorn rising. Trying to understand: didn't get to be a Capricorn, but sure got nabbed by Saturn/Capricorn energies anyway. Any thoughts on this? It blows my mind from a Macro sense of reality!!!😁 I'd so appreciate your take on this! Blessing Amazing, Beautiful Being❣
