Apparently, "Jagwire" is common in the Southern USA, where the word "wire" is pronounced kind of like "war", so people trying to sound less Southern overcorrect and say "Jagwire" instead of "Jagwar".

Yea, from the south, we just say jagwire here 🤷🏽‍♂️
Just to be clear, it's not to overcorrect or sound less southern. Not to say some southerners may not pronounce it like war but maybe more like "warer"
But pretty much we'll still say jagwire despite not having a heavy southern accent. Its just common.
