Is it just me? I think they have this special aura that no girl group has. What makes them a unique girl group is that, they have different unique voices. They shine in their positions, CL stands-out at being a great leader and the BADDEST rapper, Minzy being the maknae but a dancing machine, Park Bom having the most unique voice and the charismatic main vocal, and Dara that is one of the oldest but has that 'vampire' visuals and unique fresh vocals. No one can beat and can be compared to them.

2NE1 is really one of the best kpop girl group in the history. Just by watching their performances, you will know who is who. They gave justice to the given roles. Even if you’re new and have no idea, you will know who the leader is, who is the main dancer, who is the vocal, and the visual. I miss them soooo bad. I hope they performed as a group in the finale of Queendom. 🤞🏻
This is my favorite performance of them, my god, it's so amazing and powerful. The Ending part is so catchy...... CL "praying" and her voice mixed with all the lights. Our girls know how to hold a SHOW.

The new girl group just follow the trend and many of them have at least one song with this kind of concept.

Clashing Stars snsd was considered national group because they are more "korean style". 2NE1 is different, they were trendsetters, stereotype breakers and to top it all, no one can beat their stage presence. Their music was different that's why most of new gen girl groups cannot cover their songs, they need to have powerful, husky, wide range vocals and professional level of rap to cover a 2ne1 song :) I love snsd when I need some cute, girly concepts but whenever I go back to 2ne1 performances, not only do I feel happy and satisfied, I feel empowered too :)
