Lovely shot of the kestrel hovering Ray. Back in 1982 I caught two 11lb barbel in one afternoon from the Sopley Mill Stream. 11lb was a big barbel in those days. They were my second and third double-figure barbel and I've not caught one since! Lovely to see the place again. 🙂

Went down on a recee few weeks ago unfortunately the banks are in an absolutely shocking state just getting close to the water is nigh on impossible in most places needs a proper sort out to make it fishable don't want to put the doom and gloom on it but don't travel a long way for this
