The difference in dialect is so subtle here I am having trouble picking it up even though I am replaying it over and over! But it's really cool that Kaji-san and Yamashita-san can tell the difference so easily! I learned Japanese in school, but I did not realise there was a difference in pitch from start to finish in words! Love how educational this is!
Can we talk about how ACCURATE the seasons are for the characters? Summer is a season of new life and new chances, a season of new(ness) that is about happiness and good warmth and good vibes. It just fits Deku so well!!! The sunshine happy person the character is, the green of his hair ect. Izuku *IS* Summer! And a summer rainstorm can bring lightning.... Then Autumn for Shoto is also so PERFECT, a season based around changes in temperature or transitions from summer to winter. I.E. from hot to cold. Now sure, we could say another season fits, but scientifically, Autumn is when the northern hemisphere tilts towards the sun, the planet get warmer. When it tilts away, the planet get colder. If we consider the Sun to be Enji then the season makes more sense, and of course the quote; “The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let the dead things go.” fits the entire arc of the Todoroki family.
How can Kaji-san like summer?? It's like being in an oven by the volcano! Well, here where I live, that is... "I wanna drag Kaji-san here and see how he'll tolerate the heat," suddenly crossed my mind XD Thank you for the explanation at the end! I learned something new and I don't really understand much about dialects so it helped a lot! (*^ω^*)

i learnt english from a young age at school and for japanese mostly by my self but i did take classes for two semesters in uni :D cool! have fun learning japanese! xD
Japanese is honestly a lot easier to learn if you take actual lessons because they can slowly increase the level of difficulty whereas if you learnt it by yourself you’ll probably be unsure about where to go after learning the basic alphabets. For me I live in Singapore so I am forced to be fluently bilingual in English and my Mother tongue chinese and I took Japanese as my third language. Having learnt Chinese, Japanese was a lot easier to understand because the kanji is very similar to Chinese words. I had to learn at a really quick pace because we had to take exams. If you aren’t learning it for school, my advice is only learn it during the holidays or when you have no exam pressure because it is really way too time consuming. You can use Duolingo to get started!!

Space Doggo it's the same for every language that's used in a lot of places. Like how American, British and Australian English can be very different. Happens woth me, too in my native language. Some words from another dialect are completely different from my dialect but we still understand each other.
My first homeroom teacher in Japan was also from Hamamatsu , and my classmates would always complain about how she pronounced "hansode" and "kutsu" in the atamadaka pattern! This brings back memories! T__T
