I learned a lot watching you such as relax for most of the race will give you so many spots. Ran here last night 22 car starting 21st finished 10th after a leisurely drive past everyone who burned up thier tires
I'm sure all the orange paints love this change. They get to rebox their sets that probably barely changed and dupe more people. At least with the racing spread out the orange paints hopefully can't wreck as many people. Edit: Holy crap just caught the end. Orange paints are gonna orange paint no matter what!
@danielbeck5617 Until Nick's most recent video he turned all of the cars that had "setup shops" on them that orangish mustard color. That's why there were so many of them.
I would love to see them re record these sounds for Trucks, Xfinity! I work in NASCAR and in the sim they just have such a flat sound compared to the real thing
It's been a bit track to track for me. Some tracks had no difference but I did a league race at Homestead last night and you could really pack air on people and upset their trucks. Went from really tight to really loose when in the wake of other trucks and people would get sucked right around if someone packed the air on the left rear
Had a lot of fun racing around you all race! I was the 19. My tires the first run looked exactly like yours. A little better the second run. I thought I was gonna get you at the end just didn’t quite have enough.
Seems like it doesn’t run so tight the entire run but that could just be the open set. But maybe with the aero tweak it also lowered the draft factor like you said. That should be a great addition. The constant pack racing at anything bigger than 3/4 mile was a bit ridiculous in the trucks.
iracing actually did ok on the fixed set this time is actually pretty close. its a bit tight and it'll burn the right front rear quick.. reminds me of the Arca Car you gotta get this thing up on the right rear or you'll just murder the right front ive been testing this thing since it went live yesterday morning i have probably 300 test laps in with it already. unless you lift and trail brake it through corner i was killing the right front after 30 laps. after a 40 lap run tire wear is about 12/55 this thing dont like dirty air at all gets tighter than hell
Also want to say your kids have really helped me improve my race craft and safety rating by adopting a similar tire save mode early in races like you employ often 👍
Didn't look super different, curious to see how the fixed series drives now on the bigger tracks to see if they spread out as quick as they did in this one. I need to change my paint schemes and tags for iR sidekick as well. I looked into it a bit but couldn't find where it was storing the schemes
Such a shame all those mustards got crunched at the end. Trucks are definitely looser. Imagine how little turn the car would have with that tire wear with the old physics.
So I mainly run Arca/Gen4 and Trucks i usually run the fixed ones as im fairly new too racing and the last two fixed truck races they have felt samiliar in most ways .. but the aero and chasis did make the trucks do some weird wiggles and pushes on certain tracks like chicagoland last night i kept getting the weird wiggle off of corners. I enjoy the space we get in the truck races now.

Its the people with setup shop advertising on their trucks, i use iRSidekick to change the paints

I also think the truck feels the same… for the most part - just a little bit more like the Xfinity car now. Which I like.

My biggest takeaway from watching this is we may actually get to race and not ipace around most of the time. Hope this translates to short tracks too

No way the truck is very loose ! Far more than realistic....Its as bad ot worse than Arca ????
ARCA is always tight (for me), this felt always loose, and I just did a fixed race that was deadly loose.
