Here I am again singing your praises to the sky!! This has been a rough week as my husband has been in the hospital for four days. So my therapy was watching your videos. And I really do even have a professional therapist. But she knows my escape route is watching videos about art. I’ve even shared your channel with her! Listening to you laugh and watching you create kept me from going into a hole while I worried about my husband. Happy sidenote, he is home and well. I hope that trend continues for him. It seems whenever I start with a limited palette(cool or warm) , I inevitably end up straying! 😜 Going to try your range, as it will be great to add to one journal I'm working on with a bee theme, but this will also be great for masculine or neutral-color themed journals and bits!

Oh that was fabulous!! I love those colours especially the brown black/sepia. it does look like Vegemite and I never really got into Vegemite when i lived in Australia. It's definitely an acquired taste. Loved the inspiration in this video ....as always. Happy New Year Froyle.

I like to glue shapes cut from cardstock into a piece of cardboard for texture plates. I can make any pattern very easily using scrap pieces.

Hi, Froyle! It looks like you’re using tissue for the prints…or is it the paper you showed in the beginning?
It’s probably both! 🤣🤣 I now use wet strength tissue, it’s amazing!!! 👍🏼😍 cheers
Could I ask if it matters if the laser prints used are in colour or black and white ?
If so what would be the difference in the transfer? Thanks

Hi Froyle, wishing you the best for 2023. I have a question. I must be doing something wrong. I get some drawings printed at office shop on a laser printer. I try to do on gelliprint but when i lift it there is absolutely nothing on the plate and all the paint is on the paper. I can to magazines etc but not the laser black and white . PS thanks for the free dissolved national geographic pages. They are fab.
It's your print copy. Try getting a colour laser print, even if your image is black & white. I have found this to be much more successful. It always depends on where you get the images printed. Try different places, but colour always works for me! Happy creating, cheers Froyle
@@FroyleArt thanks so much for that. They did do a colour one but still no go so maybe I have to find somewhere else. This is the only print shop in town. I know Harvey Norman does photos so maybe I will try there. Thanks for getting back to me
Vicki i had a similar issue and then changed from cheap coles copy paper to a more expensive brand. Not sure why it made a difference but it did and now all my transfers work. This might might not be your problem because you are getting a shop rather than home printing but it certainly made a difference to me.
@@crisscross104 I am definitely going to speak to shop about it. This is the only shop that does photocopying in my country town so I can't go elsewhere. I really want to sort out
@@vickicorbett2367 they might even let you supply the paper if that is the problem. After all you only want their toner 😃
