In the scene where Shrek revisited the Dragon’s Keep, there’s a wall scribbled by Fiona representing the innumerable days she spent in that tower. The saddest part is that by saving herself, she resorted to no longer believe in true love and forfeiting her status as a princess.
In this universe, Fiona was not saved by anyone. But in Shrek 2, wasn't Charming supposed to save Fiona? I assume Fairy Godmother gave Charming all the means to save Fiona. But the fact that he didn't... or couldn't, means that despite all the magical artifacts Charming had, was Charming still killed by the Dragon? It's certainly possible, given that Charming was not exactly a hardened warrior (having a magical sword does not make you a sword master). Any theories?
This is my biggest obsessions and fixations with Princess Fiona’s weaknesses with different times of day! While our star rises in the East, she gets Shrek upset and sets in the West gets Lord Farquaad upset!
The term "cardinal" typically refers to the four main directions: north, south, east, and west. It can also refer to something fundamental, primary, or essential. Similarly, "time of day" refers to specific periods within a 24-hour cycle, such as morning, afternoon, evening, and night. In some contexts, the cardinal directions and time of day can become obsessive if someone excessively fixates on them or becomes overly preoccupied with their significance. For example:Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD): Individuals with OCD may develop obsessions related to cardinal directions or specific times of the day. They may feel compelled to arrange objects or perform rituals according to a certain cardinal direction or at specific times. This obsession can interfere with daily functioning and cause distress.Superstitions: In some cultures or belief systems, certain cardinal directions or times of the day may be associated with superstitions or beliefs about luck, fortune, or spirituality. People who adhere strongly to these beliefs may become obsessive about following rituals or avoiding activities based on cardinal directions or time of day.Anxiety disorders: In certain cases, individuals may experience excessive anxiety or fear related to cardinal directions or specific times of the day. They may avoid certain directions or times out of irrational fear or worry, leading to obsessive thoughts and behaviors. In these contexts, the fixation on cardinal directions or time of day becomes obsessive when it significantly impacts an individual's thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, leading to distress or impairment in daily life.
I have never thought that deeply about how freaking sad Fiona's story is
Same.
Honestly, I don’t blame Fiona for wanting to leave the tower like Rapunzel. She was probably so bored out of her mind waiting for her rescue.
