Oh my word, I had this exact conversation this morning, about being drained by people who need me but are never there for me when I need them, and setting up boundaries. It's hard to learn to say No, but so needed.

Boundaries and losing people have been very prominent events in my life lately. It really hurt, but it’s taught me to deeply value ‘me’ and love all of me with grace and compassion. Lovely hair Julie ❤

For the past almost two years I have been alone. I nursed my beloved partner after a series of strokes since early 2022 with no help. I didn't want help, we wanted this time just the two of us. Shie died in 2023. Our home has now been sold, and I'm soon moving to a city to live with one of.my brothers. So my whole life is changing again. 💕

I stopped dying my hair when you stop dying your hair and I started putting a couple of copper fittings and my water and drinking it at least once a day and eating beef liver capsules and my hair has gone back more so to my natural color

Hello beautiful lady. I saw the there’s something I must tell you part in the description and thought 💭 oh dear that’s not good….
So clicked on it anyway and found that we Virgos have had a little bit of tough love by spirit today and actually that’s needed. Personally, I do need the boot up bum sometimes to get myself in gear. So firstly, thank you 🙏 Eli ❤😘
There are a few areas where I really need to set boundaries and I have struggled with it tbh.
I have very few friends and although I don’t need lots of friends, I am very independent. But I also don’t feel comfortable being around loads of people. I value close, trustworthy friends even if I count them all on one hand and I’m comfortable with that aspect. I have tried to maintain the few friendships I do have.
However, for many years, I have felt that my wants, and needs within those relationships have not been met on my terms, it’s always been to fit in with them and what they want to do. Who they want to spend time with. Which I have had to fit into. I’m talking about their other friends here, not their family members.
For as long as I can remember this has been a major issue for me and when I attempt to communicate my feelings. I’m then being demanding or selfish throwing my toys out of the pram, so to speak. I don’t ask for very much in any relationships I have but to have a balanced, give and take relationship.
But I am always the one to make an effort on some level first. Or make a suggestion to meet up, do something but it’s never at my convenience .
This has been on my mind actually for months and because making friends does not come easily to me. I felt the need to hold on so tight.
In work tho, I have no problem saying no and can be quite blunt about it. I love what the job gives me and it supports my lifestyle but I have felt very ostracised, unsupported and have been bullied in this job. Yet I have still said no a few times which hasn’t gone down well making it all the more difficult going into work. Again I have communicated my concerns which felt like a pointless exercise. Then when I become reactive I then have an attitude and I’m in the wrong. So it’s going around in circles atm.
I have been looking at courses but tbh I don’t know what I can actually do that I’m gonna love that will earn a living away from doing care and support work that suits my abilities.
Really need direction to get some idea of what to do. To set goals . I’m a good person and don’t mind helping others and being of service but it’s seriously needing an overhaul to get the balance back.
