Thanks for this video. Will this give me RUclips on the native Apple CarPlay app? Or could I only use RUclips if using android auto? Also, if can I cast RUclips videos from my Apple iPhone to the device to watch on screen?

No this won’t give you RUclips in CarPlay. You can use RUclips in carlinkit’s android interface.

It does not come with a mirroring feature. However i suppose you could download an app like AirDroid Cast or similar to cast your phone’s screen. It comes with Play Store and APK Installer.

Thanks again. So does that mean if I want to search for a RUclips video, I have to do so from the car’s interface? Ie I’m not able to search from my iPhone? Or could there be a workaround somehow?

The RUclips app has a cast feature that should let you cast to the RUclips app on the carlinkit. I haven’t tried it yet. Will update you once I get a chance to test it.

It doesn't connect to my android phone it keeps coming up with waiting so i am unable to use my android auto
