And no worries, don't be intimidated by it: it might look a bit hard at first, but as a coordinated team you're only doing 1/4th of the tasks, so once you get used to the heists and understand your roles, it's quite easy to do :D

That's correct yup! It is used to lure the guards while in stealth, although I was just pressing F there to pick up the forklift crowbar, in case it was there.
Very very true actually, that_one_guy! With some small optimizations, you can absolutely reach sub-30 with this rotation :D However, we want even more heist variety, so we moved on to other rotations including heists like Hostile Takeover, Golden Grin, Border Crossing... which we will showcase in the future!
@@Marcmb GGC seems like an easy rush. Also, is there any particular reason as to having more variety, apart from it being more fun, and not having exp penalties?
@@that_one_guy934 Excellent question! GGC is indeed quite easy once the crew understands what to do. Very similar to the Car Shop ECM rush, in some ways. As for the heist variety, it's just to avoid XP penalties (which make the grind inefficient), and of course for more fun! Because rotations with more heist variety always feel more fun to play :)

Hey Louis! I currently have about 6,000 hours on PAYDAY. As for the time required, it's hard to say because it depends on the type of video, but it usually takes my entire weekend, and some of the evenings!

hey marc, was playing with a friend and he didnt use a hud(any mods actually) because thought it as a cheat while i was helping him with your videos tips, so thinking about your videos i was thinking could u do that ecm rushing rotation with only the vanilla itself, i guess u would just need to write down the next ecm by looking at the heist timer, or maybe just big bank since it has the biggest ecm chain, a good challenge i would say

In fact, I asked myself the same thing a few months ago, and I had the same idea as you: thinking about how it would apply to Big Bank, since that's the longest rush. Hey Guffy! Going from 0 to 100, rather than using the purple bar, is much much faster because the XP required is 7,000,000 lower, which makes a huge difference. Especially considering that, after a single 1-minute heist, I already have all the skills I need. Nothing wrong with using the purple bar though, if you enjoy that playstyle more! :)
Hey Salixus! That's a very good point. Currently in the rotation, Black Cat, Mountain Master, and Big Bank, are all DLC heists. It's likely possible to come up with a rotation that doesn't use any DLC, which might be an interesting concept to explore in the future!
Hey rixarlin! Excellent question no worries :) That's because, despite the fact that we're Level 0, three of us are using the Yakuza perk deck, so we get up to +20% movement speed by zerking!

Hey Pringle! More or less yup. Starting at Infamy 5, your XP reward is exactly half of what you would get at Infamy 25, so you can do 2 rotations to reach 100. As you get closer to 25, the grind is gonna be faster and faster, until you reach this exact same pace at Infamy 25.
I just had a thought, what if you set up all of your skills for a particular skill break on a separate skillset from a different infamy to save a few seconds more in time? It’s not much but it gets just a little faster in the long run
Marc is speedrunning? im on it! i would count the ingame time, not the real time and so you have the final time of 25:46! as you using mods, you could also try with our rng mod to see whats possible.
Thanks Oliver! Internally we time everything with IGT yup, to be able to see how good the run was ignoring loads. However, since the goal of this is to farm fast infamies in real time, it's important to not focus only on IGT, because things like skipping skill breaks, fast buying / skilling, etc. can't be quantified in IGT. So the number of heists and skill breaks should also be included somehow, not just IGT! As for RNG Modifier, we might do some runs with that in the future, but only to demonstrate that it is very cheaty in the context of Infamy Farming, because you can save HUGE amounts of time by knowing your RNG ahead of time! :D
@RealHelmut Be nice Helmut be nice! It's true that slowmo strategies are a bit "counter-intuitive" because the actual RT is slower so it's not as satisfying, but some people enjoy speedrunning with those rules, so that is fine! :D

We don't worry too much about the Theoretical Best because it is extremely unlikely to happen in a run (10-11 heists in a row, each with its individual RNG...), but it's true that it's always very cool to know! We have some modless rushers in the community (me personally I only disabled my HUD for the HUDless BB rush video, but most of the time I play with HUDs), so I might organize a full modless run in the future! It would be the only fair way to apply to the official leaderboards, for example :D

Hey Goofy! The next obvious goal is a sub-30 and we already have rotations for it, which we are optimizing and finalizing in our Discord server (linked in the description, if you're interested). After that, with the release of PAYDAY 3, we will likely skip to a few advanced heists and publish a slightly trickier rotation for sub-27, and the end goal, if we continue playing after PAYDAY 3 is released, will be a sub-25 someday!
I'm sorry, but you've proven too many times that you are too childish to be in a public Discord server :( You can try again in a few months... maybe by the time PAYDAY 3 comes out, you'll have grown up a bit!
@@Blockbuster1776 Hmmm there are a few loud heists that can be ECM rushed that's true! Did you have any exploits in mind, or just suggesting any in general, whichever is possible?
@@Blockbuster1776 In that case, some of them are possible, and I'll be showcasing them in the future! For now, we did Counterfeit full ECM rush in the past, although that one is a bit easy. For 200 million offshore, I recommend heists with a big payout (Big Oil, Big Bank with all loot, Shadow Raid ECM rush...), but most importantly don't buy any heists from the Contract Broker: get them from CrimeNET (set your filter to Death Sentence) or join heists hosted by other players!
Hey violentcrimes! More or less every single run is in the range of 30mXXs since the strategies aren't too complicated once you understand the heists! However, for new heisters getting into it, it will definitely take at least 2-3 learning rotations to understand their roles in the heists, and then a few more to start reaching this pace! Really fun learning process though :)
Hey normalclown! Unfortunately co-op farming will always end up being faster, because of all the extra XP bonuses, and faster heists. However there are still some very decent solo farming rotations though!
Hey marcmb, i am not sure if you are still playing pd2, but I just thought of a small potential optimization for the run. What if everyone has different loadouts with skillsets at different milestones for the skillbreaks. Say, instead of a skillbreak, you switch to a profile with x amount of skillpoints invested. Of you roughly know what your level is going to be at for each skillbreak, you can create specific profiles for it.
Hey Robin! Still playing yup, and this would be a decent idea but there is only one issue! You can know ahead of time how many skill points you will have available, but even if you pre-make the profile, you still need to go into the skills menu, then open the skillset list, then unsuspend the profile (which got suspended when going infamous) and then re-assign it. And then repeat this if you have one Hacker and one Yakuza profile for the run... which ends up taking the same (if not longer) than the classic method here, which has the advantage of building up the skills simultaneously for all your different perk deck profiles. Hope that clears it up! :)
That's fair! Back in 2015 I used to level up with heists like Rats and Firestarter, so I think variety is key here. Learning these coordinated speedruns is also really fun, if it's something you enjoy :D
Excellent question juli! Sorry for the confusion. BB25 is how Big Bank used to be played until now: full rush, with all loot (21 to 25 bags, hence the name BB25). However, with these optimizations, we go for minimum loot, so we can rush with 3 Yakuza and diminish the effect of RNG (close vault vs. far vault). Since we go for 7 bags only, we call this BB7. It's that simple! :D
Hey illfrustrator! Back in May is when I taught my community about starting rotations with DS0 and doing minimum loot on Big Bank, so that's how some of them were able to design a sub-30 speedrun yup. The only issue with it is that in the long run it ends up giving you penalties, so while it's a very nice speedrun, it's useless for actual farming unless you're okay with a full lobby of Jewelry Store spam every now and then to clear penalties. There are many other rotations for sub-30 though, which I'll be sharing as we get closer to PAYDAY 3's release! There is always potential to go faster, with more unused strategies :p
@@MarcmbThanks for replying my comment. I don't sure what is their name (maybe bunni). They create an infamy plan with 5 heists and 12 contracts. They say there is a risk of getting heat penalties, but it's also quite rare. I always play solo and I'm not in infamy rushing but your solo xp farm guides are great. I'm still waiting for your new solo xp farm guides. 😂

She used to be in the community but got really mad that not many people enjoyed her rotation (because of the repetition in those 12 contracts) so she started making drama in the chat and then she got banned. We have some modless rushers in the community (me personally I only disabled my HUD for the HUDless BB rush video, but most of the time I play with HUDs), so I might organize a full modless run in the future! It would be the only fair way to apply to the official leaderboards, for example :D

Hey Zach! That mod does save some time whenever you're restarting, true, although for these strategies, most of the time there's no mistakes, so there's also no restarts! :D

Hey Goofy! The next obvious goal is a sub-30 and we already have rotations for it, which we are optimizing and finalizing in our Discord server (linked in the description, if you're interested). After that, with the release of PAYDAY 3, we will likely skip to a few advanced heists and publish a slightly trickier rotation for sub-27, and the end goal, if we continue playing after PAYDAY 3 is released, will be a sub-25 someday!

Solo ECM rushes are very fun! Sadly there aren't many heists where this can be used. But really fun still!
What about ecm rushing a loud only heist (will need some big expolits)

@@Blockbuster1776 In that case, some of them are possible, and I'll be showcasing them in the future! For now, we did Counterfeit full ECM rush in the past, although that one is a bit easy.
For 200 million offshore, I recommend heists with a big payout (Big Oil, Big Bank with all loot, Shadow Raid ECM rush...), but most importantly don't buy any heists from the Contract Broker: get them from CrimeNET (set your filter to Death Sentence) or join heists hosted by other players!
how long does it take all of you to get it right?
Hey violentcrimes! More or less every single run is in the range of 30mXXs since the strategies aren't too complicated once you understand the heists! However, for new heisters getting into it, it will definitely take at least 2-3 learning rotations to understand their roles in the heists, and then a few more to start reaching this pace! Really fun learning process though :)
This just makes me wonder if there's a solo infamy farm that's anywhere near close to this level of efficiency.
Hey normalclown! Unfortunately co-op farming will always end up being faster, because of all the extra XP bonuses, and faster heists. However there are still some very decent solo farming rotations though!

Hey marcmb, i am not sure if you are still playing pd2, but I just thought of a small potential optimization for the run. What if everyone has different loadouts with skillsets at different milestones for the skillbreaks. Say, instead of a skillbreak, you switch to a profile with x amount of skillpoints invested. Of you roughly know what your level is going to be at for each skillbreak, you can create specific profiles for it.
Hey Robin! Still playing yup, and this would be a decent idea but there is only one issue! You can know ahead of time how many skill points you will have available, but even if you pre-make the profile, you still need to go into the skills menu, then open the skillset list, then unsuspend the profile (which got suspended when going infamous) and then re-assign it. And then repeat this if you have one Hacker and one Yakuza profile for the run... which ends up taking the same (if not longer) than the classic method here, which has the advantage of building up the skills simultaneously for all your different perk deck profiles. Hope that clears it up! :)

That's fair! Back in 2015 I used to level up with heists like Rats and Firestarter, so I think variety is key here. Learning these coordinated speedruns is also really fun, if it's something you enjoy :D
what did you mean by BB7 / BB25 at 26:36?
Excellent question juli! Sorry for the confusion. BB25 is how Big Bank used to be played until now: full rush, with all loot (21 to 25 bags, hence the name BB25).
However, with these optimizations, we go for minimum loot, so we can rush with 3 Yakuza and diminish the effect of RNG (close vault vs. far vault). Since we go for 7 bags only, we call this BB7. It's that simple! :D

If I remembered correctly, there has been Payday 2 infamy rush sub 30 video since May 2023, but it is so underrated.
Hey illfrustrator! Back in May is when I taught my community about starting rotations with DS0 and doing minimum loot on Big Bank, so that's how some of them were able to design a sub-30 speedrun yup. The only issue with it is that in the long run it ends up giving you penalties, so while it's a very nice speedrun, it's useless for actual farming unless you're okay with a full lobby of Jewelry Store spam every now and then to clear penalties.
There are many other rotations for sub-30 though, which I'll be sharing as we get closer to PAYDAY 3's release! There is always potential to go faster, with more unused strategies :p

I don't sure what is their name (maybe bunni). They create an infamy plan with 5 heists and 12 contracts. They say there is a risk of getting heat penalties, but it's also quite rare.
I always play solo and I'm not in infamy rushing but your solo xp farm guides are great. I'm still waiting for your new solo xp farm guides. 😂
@@illfrustratordrdx Nws yup, that's exactly right! That's the same bunni that's credited at 1:50 in this video. She used to be in the community but got really mad that not many people enjoyed her rotation (because of the repetition in those 12 contracts) so she started making drama in the chat and then she got banned.

Excellent question Pa! I actually explained in a recent video that there is never a single reason to use Hacker over Copycat-Hacker for stealth, so when I said the former, I was actually referring to the latter, just with shorter words! Sorry for the confusion :)
