@@Backkdoor yes, the whales need to be active and stay healthy + fit. if the whales choose not to participate then the shows will be canceled (which happens a lot here at orlando)
@@acreepa4 no, but it can become a really controversial topic and people can be very toxic and rude about it when theres no need. genuinely speaking as well, lots of anti caps werent informed right, and end up spreading lots of information. i personally dont support captivity but the arguments being used are not the best. with that being said, if someone disagrees with another, it will often go beyond just captivity. ripple is just trying stop fights, trust me ive seen it before and its not pretty 🙃

orcas are beautiful creatures. as long as they are treated with kindness and respect i dont have a problem.
So if we dragged you away from your kids and family then kept you in a bathtub for 20 years and made you perform in order to eat would you say we treat you with kindness and respect

because people realize sea world is a cancer too the animals and they treat the animals poorly. Whales should not be captives

what are the biggest diff in the show since the 80s versions ..?
the shows are more educational, if "on hand" like on the shallow water podium only positiv with scratching, encouragement... and i think they have spotters which would remember the trainers if they accidently forget to reward a whale

@@maximpact4070 it begins with "Orcas are mamals, not fish" over "I think the tank is way to small for them" and ends with "we have to protect our nature"
Every kid should make such progress in understanding.

They're also mammals and they also display emotions just like us plus they could've accidentally mistaked the trainers for something else

Why did they cut out the hunt segment again?
I really don't know why honestly. The Hunt was one of the best segments of Orca Encounter. Hopefully they add it back.
