- Here is the last fly-past by the C-130 Hercules of the United Kingdom. This has been Britain's work horse of the sky's for the last 57 years and is now being replaced by the A400 Atlas. The aircraft took off at 10 am from RAF Brize-Norton and we were waiting for it at its first fly past at The National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire. It then carried on here to fly through the four Nations of the United Kingdom before returning back to RAF Brize Norton at 17:00 hrs. This was the end of The Royal Air Force 47 Squadron as it has now stood down.
