Nobody goes over the fact that the H-Wave (what I own) or the Marc Pro + does have a manual mode that allows frequently changes between 1-70Hz. Low frequency is considered between 1-19Hz and high is 20 to 70Hz. In standard preset mode (way the unit ships) the low button is 2Hz and high button is 60Hz. Manually changing the frequency gives a huge range of levels. I believe the Marc Pro only has the 2Hz and does not have any manual mode or high mode. To enter manual mode on the H-Wave or Marc Pro + hold down the channel A high button and channel B low button while powering on the unit. Then use the high or low buttons to change the frequency on each channel. You can buy the H-Wave OTC unit without a prescription for $6960 or theMarc Pro + for $1399. These are the same exact unit so why the company charges almost 7k for one and $1399 for the other is the reason our health care system is so screwed up. The H-Wave is FDA approved meaning your insurance may pay 80% of the cost of the unit. So your insurance pays $5568 and you pay $1392. Please pay the extra $7 and stop insurance fraud. I would bet if the doctor writes a script the doctor gets a kickback on the $5568 too.
This was an excellent video. It was important to listen all the way to the end. The information about H-wave being the parent company of the Marc Pro was good to know. I am having a total knee replacement and want to use this device post operatively. Thank you.
We still pick the MP+ because it works so differently than the other systems. It’s non fatiguing and hits the body’s recovery pathways in a more robust way.

I just bought Compex 3.0.
if i just want good shoulder and elbow throwing arm injury prevention and post throwing recovery can I get away with just a marc pro?
I mean will you really buy $1k worth of pads over time?
Maybe
@@docksloan never....hahaha
Do you have to shave your legs to use this on your calfs & quads asking for a friend?
Not necessary! If you’re super hairy it might be harder for the pads to stick, but you can decide based on your (friend’s) level of furryness.
@@docksloan Thanks for the quick reply earned yourself another sub
Really need an unbiased comparission
I’m sure there’s one out there. Probably should have called this one “why the Marc Pro is better for recovery”.
Obviously this video is hecka biased towards the Marc Pro
💯. In our opinion it’s the better tool and wanted to give reasons why.
@@docksloan Would you say the MP is better then the Power Dot?
Absolutely.
Tried the coupon code for the marc pro plus. Wouldnt work. Is this no longer active?
This was made a while ago and it might not be!
@@docksloan your advice/preference for a career firefighter that has knee issues? Compex or marc pro plus...?
We still pick the MP+ because it works so differently than the other systems. It’s non fatiguing and hits the body’s recovery pathways in a more robust way.
@@docksloan Non fatiguing? You really expect people to buy that line?
Why not?
HE USED WE FEEL IT IS A BETTER FLUSH SMH SO HE DOESNT KNOW WHEN IT COMES TO THE MARC PRO PLUS
