Good lord that is a beautifully painted army! I made a comment years ago that one day I will get an army painted by you all and I'm still saving up to make that dream come true. Keep being awesome Siege!
@@midknight9327not everyone has the time to paint or the ability to! I’m fortunate enough to be able to paint to this level, but I still would like to get something done by them one day to save time
Awesome army. Good use of the Assault terminator arms on them. I might try that myself with parts form my bits box. Keep up the good work Siege Studios.👍😊
I don't know enough about the lore of Space Marines (I've always been an Eldar Player) but since my 20 year return to 40K, I'm liking the Space Marines more and more. What are the rules about where the iconography are supposed to be placed? I've noticed that some of the terminators have the Skull Cross on the right knee plate, and some on the left. Does it matter? Also, does it matter which shoulder the legion vs rank is on? Thanks in advance for those of you who know whats up!
Doesn't matter where they are on the knees, but on the shoulder the chapter icon should be on the right with the skull cross (which is called the Crux Terminatus) on the left side. Not sure what you mean by the legion vs rank, but the chapter icon is always on the left shoulder on standard marines, with squad markings on the right shoulder pad - the colour of the rims of the shoulder pads indicates the company, which would mean that most of these Carcharadons are 8th company as their shoulder pads are grey - the ones with gold shoulder rims are 1st company veterans.
there's no official chapter markings for Carcharodons, so the team would have either have to freehand them on (which is an additional cost) or the client supplies a third party one. The Mighty Brush has an awesome transfer sheet for Carcharodons as well as other successor chapters if you're interested in finding some!
It looks good, but I don't feel the atmosphere of this army. They lack distinctive ethnic tattoos, and pirate weapons, the primary is too small for the description
The Grey Tithe, an arrangement with the Mechanicus. The Characarodons supply any tech they find, the the Mechanicus re-stock the Space Sharks. Guilliman authorised the Mechanicus to supply Primaris tech to outlying chapters. That's as I understand it anyway.
Its incredible. Highest end possible work. But imagine getting this army (cant imagine the cost monetarily) and then say, wanting some inceptors lol Do you go back and pay? Or do yourself, then not get it up to snuff, id rather have an averaging army thats conistsent, than a hodge podge.
More often than not a client will come back to us when they want to add more to their army as we have processes in place which allow us to match consistency now matter how long you leave it. We've had clients come back 2, 3 even 4 years later to add to their army.
Stunning paint job of a nameless, generic Space Marine force. Everything that really makes the Carcharodons who they truly are is completely missing: exile honor markings, random pieces of older battle plate, chainaxes, white-armored 'Red Bretheren' of the 1st company, the two lightnings and a skull in place of the aquilla, and the great coiled white shark on their pauldrons. The void brothers don't wear purity seals. Their eyes and the eye lenses of their helmets are as black as the void, their skin tone is pale and teeth cut to fangs. I'm not saying it's impossible to spin some narrative that'll make this force work, but it would be one just as bland, uninspired and half-assed as those describing most Pirmaris 'reinforcements'.
These are very well painted, but they are just space marines painted in Carcharodons colours. There’s no conversion or any indication otherwise telling us they are Carcharodons.. sorry, this is a 6/10 for me.
Yep thats the issue with a chapter like Carcharodons, can paint the colors but it doesnt impress the absolute unique style and look of the pretty personalized units. No Chapter emblems, no markings, bog standard Ultramarine but GREY
The base in the exact same colour theme as the models, making the models read allot harder and doesnt make them stand out.... how can a studio that huge and skillful make such a rookie mistake??? Such a bummer! It could have been so much more spectacular with a dark green/dark red/yellow ocre base colour. The paint job itself is stellar, hats off to that.
We are a commission painting service, so we create what the client has asked for. This is also opinionated and there's no right or wrong way to choose what basing you want on your models. Glad you like the models!
Looks great. Funny how the supposedly biggest Marine ever is the smallest in the force. :) Love the tactical cliffside.
That's why you gotta 3d print your own characters. GW sucks
@@Invictus40k Nope. Tybros is just a very old sculpt.

All this beautiful work, and no exile markings.
Man, if only I had the disposable income to have an army painted like this
U can just git gud tho and do it urself

Beautiful army. And everytime I see firstborn it makes me happy. They are still amazing nodels to have in any army. :)
Beautiful painting but I never would have guessed them as Carcharadons. They need battle damage!
We paint to our clients requests, which in this case did not include battle damage!
@@SiegeStudios I assumed as much. I’m sure the client is delighted with the job you guys have done.

Super ckean paintjob wish there was more to make them stand out as space sharks.
And here I was thinking 90s style edge highlighting was a faux pas these days? I think they look tremendous. Great job, Will!
Insanely clean paintjob!
Gorgeous! 🥰
Just reading 'outer dark' and this popped up 😂

Tyberos is a bit too small for my liking but the rest of the army is gorgeous !
and here I am laying on some flat gray primer and calling it a day
gorgeous
They look pretty good. I would like to know what colors were used for the white helmets?
Void brothers you need to earn some exile marks, asap!
What color paints did you use to paint this army? Thanks
I want the recipe for the Base colour. Beautiful Dark Blue Grey.
We do have a Carcharodons tutorial on Patreon but it's not for this exact job I'm afraid! www.patreon.com/siegestudios
Where do you get the Tyberos mini? I can't seem to find that one anymore.
no legion markings on shoulders?

Was or is this army for sale?
Funny way of saying flesh tearers , great job thoe :)
Parkinson's disease is not fun while painting minis! Gosh i wish my little Army would look like that!
It looks good, but I don't feel the atmosphere of this army. They lack distinctive ethnic tattoos, and pirate weapons, the primary is too small for the description
Bravo
Pity they dont have rules for tyberos i play carcharadons and play raven guard wish i had a supplement for them
How would they get primaris geneseed I wonder...

Where can I get a Tyberos Mini??? I'm new to 40k
It's discontinued now I believe unfortunately, so you'll be best looking on ebay and trading groups but be aware for fakes!
Just get it recast
If GW can't be bothered to make it and their bottom line isn't suffering then it's fine
@captaincorundum9788 seriously found one on ebay for over $300! I think Tyberos is amazing but I'm not getting scammed like that
Why are terminators thighs so small? Never really understood, they should be huge.
plzzz plz can u make a vid how how u painted the Vet heads!!!!

Not much shark in the shark army

Looks great, but is sort of boring? I would have loved to see some freehand or some more interesting highlights

Yeah they are easy to convert to i usally cut a kinfe in half and use it as a fin

Definitely Primaris - Old School Carcharodons don’t sport the Aquila or purity seals!!!
Great job. Anyone would need therapy after doing that much edge highlighting.
Well executed color scheme.
However.....
No decorations.
No polynesion "tattoo" art.
No Sharks.
Too Vanilla.
Too many loyalist markings…
not enough chainswords and too much shooty... very lore unfriendly
I cant take Black Dragons and Carcharodons serious.
Crazy, too bad you can’t use him because they left dual lightning claws off a terminator captain
