I'm so happy I found your channel! I could cry! You make it so easy to understand! I'm taking international economics 100% online and YOU have been my hero!!
I have watched many lectures videos but I do not have words to admire for such nice explanation in a short time May God bless you with a lot happiness Thanx
Thank you so much for your explanation! I'm currently in an international trade course and we have a similar problem like this on Cengage, helped so much!
How does the Leontif Paradix apply to this? since the USA is found to be more inclined to specialise in labour intensive rather than capital intensive. Same can be said for China as they are traditionally inclined towards labour intensive but had shifted to more capital intensive goods, how does it apply to both of them? Nevertheless, wonderful explanation! so easy to follow :)
Great question. US goods are skilled-labor intensive, or “human capital intensive”. Think of the capital as human capital. China’s unskilled workers have been replaced by robots. How time changes everything!
International trade is a story about the tide that does not lift every boat. There will be winners and losers in trade. Not everyone will be a winner. See this clip, ruclips.net/video/_vdSPqQdb1U/видео.html
Iris Franz but what decide that the US is going to consume at Point C with 9 units? Why exactly 9 point? That's my question after the trade who to decide the consumption of the country?
Not every hero is wearing a cap thanx for the powerful explanation
Glad it helped. Thanks.

why is the exportation is 6?
and what if the term of trade changed from 1:1?
The U.S. produces 15 aircraft and ended up consuming 9. Therefore, it must have exported 6 aircraft (15-9=6).
Then it would change the entire picture! However, the new terms of trade must be the slope of the line that passes B and B'
