@@van3158 Esophageal varices are enlarged veins in the esophagus, the tube that connects the throat and stomach. Esophageal varices most often happen in people with serious liver diseases. Esophageal varices are a potentially serious complication of cirrhosis. Without treatment, between 25 and 40 percent of people with varices will experience an episode of severe bleeding (hemorrhage) resulting in significant illness or even death. Approximately 15 percent of people who bleed from varices will die, emphasizing the importance of preventing bleeding and treating the liver disease. Varices do not cause symptoms until they rupture, leading to massive bleeding. Signs of bleeding from varices can include vomiting blood or material that looks like coffee grounds, dark-colored or black stools, and lightheadedness. If bleeding is severe, the person may lose consciousness.
The incident when the guy was kicked off the American Airlines flight for farting wasn't the first time it has happened; I watched a guy get kicked out for that reason, only we didn't bother landing. We were skydiving just out of Edmonton and one jumper had the most rankest farts. The pilot told him, "If you fart once more, you are out of here!" Sure enough he farted, the door was opened and he was gone. Interestingly, when we closed the door, the rotten stench was gone too.
I was about to post a similar story! Plane had no seats, everyone farted to altitude, the door was opened and everyone got out! (Except the pilot if course!)
Best event I ever seen was on a Ansett Australia flight in the early 70’s were a enterprising chap decided that the inside of the toilet on a 727 needed to be redecorated so he produced a can of spray paint as one does and then proceeded to display his artistic skills. He also had the foresight to conveniently have the paint colour in blue which was very thoughtful of him as blue and white were the colours of Ansett 😮
Insofar as I'm aware, approx. 30 passengers per year die due to cardiac arrests during U.S. domestic flights. Nothing to do with allergic reactions to peanuts etc., rather some folks' number's up. Irrespective, pissed-up passengers Should NOT be allowed board.
I was in the hospital in Bangkok 8 years ago with dengue. The sign over the bed read "danger of bleeding to death through the skin". I did have weeping sores on my back. However I've never heard of a case of someone exploding like that. Bangkok being the worlds #1 destination should be plenty of wacky flight fodder for the Maximus. Hang in there Maximus and Happy Valentines day.
About the dying guy spewing blood all over. Sounds like a cerebral hemorrhage to me. It happens as a type of stroke and is something of a mixed blessing. The victim gets to die quickly instead of living with permanent brain damage so that's good, but it's pretty traumatic to bystanders and those who have to clean up the mess. My maternal grandfather died this way. Anyway, I was indirectly associated with a commercial airline horror story a year or so back. Thankfully, I wasn't on the plane myself but it threw a snag into my day's work as I fuel the airliners at my regional airport. It was a stormy day and one of the inbound flights encountered severe turbulence, which scared one of the pax into literally crapping his pants. And not a good solid turd but the gush of fear-scented liquid And of course, because of the severe turbulence, he had to stay in his seat for a good while afterwards so the aroma permeated the cabin and the liquid seeped into the seat cushion. I really don't know who I pitied more, his fellow passengers for this poor bastard who had to cope with this very public embarrassment. So the plane landed and its departure was delayed while that whole section of seating was removed and the plane fumigated, plus of course the plane had to be inspected for structural damage by a mechanic.
Regarding the guy who died while bleeding, it's very likely Dengue fever. Also know as Dengue HEMORRHAGIC fever. It's endemic to Thailand. However, it's unlikely that the poor guy was at his first encounter with the disease, as the first time it's very rarely deadly and you don't lose blood visibility. Ask me how I know.....
Suggestion for a new video: in addition to Boeing, there are many vendor companies that have made a mess of things at both Boeing and Airbus. You could go into detail about the Pratt & Whitney geared turbofan debacle, then separately do a video on Rolls-Royce going all the way back to the late 60s/early 70s that nearly sent Lockheed into bankruptcy. So many vendors and moving parts have to converge and be completed properly before (hopefully) the planes could fly passengers. Do you like the idea?
First passenger with all the blood ... many possibilities but one is possible ruptured esophageal varices. (alcoholic in liver failure) There are many possibilities though but a blood borne disease is unlikely.
No place (else) on earth, do you have: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
Your video got flagged as potentially offensive to me 😂🤣😂 What the crap? Your videos are always amazing, educative and entertaining too. They lost their minds @RUclips . @RUclips Please stop patronize us!
The man spouting blood from his nose and mouth is certainly worrisome for hemorrhagic fever (Ebola) but it’s more likely he had an esophageal/gastric hemorrhage. This can result from a very deep ulcer or from long term effects of alcoholism. It’s not possible to really tell from what was reported, but since authorities didn’t quarantine the entire crew and all passengers, my guess is not Ebola, that means most likely GI Bleed. Thank goodness….
Maybe the passenger from the last story was trying to do something good for the environment... I mean, the engines are also called gas turbines for a reason, aren't they?
If you have a sensitive nose, being around some smelly person on a plane can be rather painfull. I on my last flight a woman a row in front of me had rolled her self in a puddle of perfume. I wish she had only gas. Parfume is like olfactory screaming and should be banned on all flights. Nobody misses your smell, what is wrong about washing and water?
Aditya Verma, traditional British name. Maybe his friends shared his hilarious joke. What if he did bomb the plane and wasn't picked up? Would there be a public outcry about security services dropping the ball. That the "joke" was in private chat is disturbing, makes the threat seem more plausible. Chess prodigy? Liability more like.
They hit me with an age restriction on this. I have no clue why? Its all news and its not violent. I'm appealing becuase I have no clue whats wrong with it.

@maximusaviationchannel My guess the algorithm picked up on bloody bombs! Or bloody Britts! Or Maximus posted it😂 Fyi, I just made those statements up.

‘Insane’ is the correct predicate adjective for this story. Our World is slowly collapsing into chaos, rudeness, and indecency.
The man who bleed out explosively was most likely acute esophagugial varies.
In English?

Or a stomach ulcer bursting perhaps?

I love Bigfoot stories. Any airline with Bigfoot stories?
Well stated.
Thank for the short stories. Success on improving my mood! 😂😂👍👍
The man on the 380 died because he lost all his blood. Usually you want to keep most of your blood inside your body.
Maybe one of Aditya's friends turned him in to the Britsh security services as a "joke"?
Never knew Airbus made a 4 X 4?
Thats how to unlock a locked lav, thx.
No one opens a plug door at altitude. Regardless of how hard they try.
