I *REALLY wish* that nearly every update of MC Eternal didn’t cause any pre-existing world to break a little more each time! Which is honestly something the devs truly need to fix! Because at this point the pack is so massive & has so many built in aspects to drastically slow the speed at which you can complete everything that *even if* you played MC Eternal 3-4hrs 5dys a week…it would still take a year or more to complete the primary objectives if you made that your sole task…with no optional quests or “just for fun” playtime. Which *no one* could or would want to do…except for the very small % of gamers who think beating games the absolute fastest YET 100% legit perfectly like the devs intended is the pentacle of “fun”! This mod pack already contains *EASILY* 2+ YEARS of game play for the average player wanting to fully complete it…and the devs are adding to it significantly multiple times a year whenever any of the devs of literal *dozens* of mods in this mod pack update their mod…as well as occasionally adding *even more* completely new mods. *BECAUSE THAT is the ENTIRE FREAKING CONCEPT* of MineCraft *Eternal*! It’s *not intended* to be completed & moved on from like other mod packs. Their goal is for players to continually have new stuff to do. Which is a *fantastic concept*! One I love & 1000% support! *HOWEVER* …if THAT is the *primary concept* for your mod pack…then one of, if not THE top goal for the development of the pack *absolutely HAS* to be that existing player worlds *REMAIN STABLE* through each major update! *At least* to the point that the game doesn’t crash 90% of the time. I would accept a 10% game crash to the point of reboot(NOT corruption of the world!)& accept that *occasional* glitches like the inverted chunk will happen with the constant updates, tweaks & additions to existing mods & especially with adding new mods. But during this 100 days EQ’s world was getting perilously close to becoming unplayable or becoming completely corrupted and his world was what… *BARELY* over just 1 year old?!?🤯🤨😒 And playing video games *is his job*! Meaning he can & does get to spend *FAR MORE TIME* playing games than average players who are in school or have job, kids or a whole list of other responsibilities/reasons preventing them from playing video games as much as EQ & other content creators. There is *absolutely NO WAY* the *average* player could 100% complete the *currently existing* content in MC Eternal in *LESS THAN a year*!! As EQ began having issues with his game crashing during his 300 day video whose content was filmed *LESS THAN A YEAR* from when he began filming this series!! So while I *love* that so many awesome mods have not only been included in a *single EPIC mod pack* so you can play them on & thus create an EPIC single MineCraft world plus allowing the use of all the MANY epic items from any of the many mods to be used in all the others, that the mod pack is continually expanding equaling more to do + causing ever increase creative possibilities but *most impressively* that the devs *integrated* multiple mods to work *together* in order to *require* players to at use the multiple mods involved to at least a certain degree in order to achieve larger goals like space travel to the moon + growing number of other planets… *literally ALL* such epic potential of this mod pack is ruined…nerfed… *FUBAR* bc any world a player starts it is currently utterly *unplayable LONGTERM* within UNDER 2 years!😕Which *completely NULLIFIES* the *primary appeal* of the promoted “eternal” or *at least* long term playability of the mod pack. I don’t know if it’s 100% possible or even the 90% I said was acceptable to make this pack remain stable long term through all the continual updates. But I wish the devs would *really focus* on ensuring each new update wont cause the crash/corruptions of pre-existing worlds. And in the meantime they should add a disclaimer when starting the mod pack clearly stating that by installing many of the future updates that *unless a fix is announced* such updates *WILL* gradually make your world unplayable & also add an additional warning to every major update that includes major changes, updates to various already included mods &/or adds new mods since THOSE are the updates most likely to cause worlds to start breaking vs updates solely containing bug fixes & minor tweaks…although those still carry some degree of risk. But at least until the devs can figure out how to ensure the game can be played continuously through updates WITHOUT causing worlds to become nearly unplayable in such a relatively short amount of time vs the expected completion time for average players…such warning would encourage players to consider if they’d rather continue their game longterm to complete the already existing content vs updating to add content they may still be a very long time from being able to even access or from being prepared/capable of having even a remote chance of completing legitimately. Which in order to help players make such a decision including a list of additions to the mod pack on update warning screen would be helpful. And perhaps offer an alternate update *containing only* bug fixes/patches to existing mods in their current versions. However I *really & truly HOPE* that the devs can find a way to make this pack stable for long term worlds…at minimum for worlds to be stable for at least 2+yrs.
