This game should never have been played. A league team vs C league team. Was this games purpose to make Grey look good or embarrass and humiliate a lower level team. Well done Grey...you beat a team that was not in your league... The organisers should be ashamed.
Outeniqua has a long history of good rugby and has especially been good the last 15 years with last year’s score being a 2 point game as well as beating grey back in 2013, they were just unfortunate playing them after a loss
For clarity sake Outiniqua is definitely not a c level team they were ranked nr 3 in the country last year and lost by 2 points against Grey in 2023.....between them and Oakdale they usually make up 90% of the SWD Craven week team....they were just unlucky to play Grey after a shock loss against Jeppe
How do you pick up the players morale after this shocking loss? Good character building opportunity I suppose for both the coaches and team. Must be their worst defeat in the schools long and proud history-Eish 🙈
